The My Life My Shop Digital Scale and Body Analyzer is not just your average scale. Sure, it can tell you how much you weigh, but that’s just a number. Through an undetectable electrical current transmitted through your body via the stainless steel pads on the scale platform – also known as Bio Impedance Analysis, or BIA – the My Life My Shop Digital Scale and Body Analyzer measures your body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone density, and water weight.     This scale is great! I first saw it on Christian Guzman's YouTube videos. I wanted a scale that would show more specifics than just your weight. I like the construction of it, its worth the price. It looks nice as well, stainless steel and glass. It states to step on it with your bare feet. Even with slightly moist feet for best results. I stepped on it 4 times. It read out the same reading. Also, take time to read the instructions. It clearly states to initialize the scale. Which means each time you use it, you step on the middle with one foot and it goes to 0.0. Wait until that shuts off completely. Then step on it normally. I will update this review if anything changes.

    Love this scale. I wouldn't say the bodyfat percentage is that accurate, but I like to be able to see the fluctuations in my weight, water and fat. I go to my coach for an actual measurement, check fluctuations on the scale. It's great, and the weight is just as accurate as my medical grade scale.     I have a question awaiting answer from MyLifeMyShop.com regarding stored information recall. But, as of now, it looks like stats are not stored or recallable.

    The fact that it allows you to track the body composition statistics for up to 8 people is nice. Example: before my wife steps on the scale she taps the up arrow to trigger P2 (Profile 2) which is "preset" to her specific profile.

    Frankly, the scale does exactly what I need it to do. I've used BMI calipers in the past to track fat %; but, just hopping on the scale is soooo much easier.

    I purchased this scale and not too long after it wouldn't work. I called Amazon and they replaced it with another one with a credit which was very nice although now the 2nd scale doesn't work. I am out the money and the scale too. I am extremely disappointed and feel that Amazon should guaranty their products especially a product that after the 2nd try still does not work. I am hopeful that someone reads this at Amazon and stands up for their products and credits my account. It is not the money it is the principal of good business,

    I had this thing like over 5 years but looking back I have to say it only hindered me. I dieted and got down to 160 lbs and 17% body fat which for me was supposed to be a good BMI and normal weight; However, the last 6 months I gained all of it back. Why? because this scale was giving me bad readings , then I started eating more thinking I was good. By the time I got such an off reading to realize it was malfunctioning and bought a new cheap scale I was 196 lbs, all my progress was off. It will seem like not a big deal to be off by 5 lbs but then it gets worse and worse . Better off with a cheap but accurate scale that doesn't measure fat or try to do too much. I'm so angry at this scale, It kinda ruined a good year of my life.

    LOVE THIS! great for anyone who is tracking their body fat% muscle mass and weight obviously keep in mind it is an electronic scale so it will not be 100% accurate however I have found it matches up pretty much spot on to the InBody that is at the gym. cool thing about this to is that you can have more then one person setting programed into it so when you step on select which person (ex: P1 or P4).

    Note: there are three obvious buttons on the front display but there is also a black button on the back which will change the unit of measurement from "lbs" to "kg"

    It is a little expensive for a scale (for the average person) but well worth it especially if your competing, dieting, trying to lose weight or just track your progress. its great to see the other details that a normal scale does not show. One thing I do want to mention is for those who tend to focus on the how much they weigh keep in mind that if your muscle weighs more then fat and the body does retain water and some days it will retain more then other. To utilise this product to the fullest DO NOT WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY DAY! I recommend once a week or twice at most

    People are giving this scale bad ratings for the inaccuracy of the body comp readings and comparing it to other devices. For $59 you are not going to get a very accurate reading of your body comp! The current passes through the area of least resistance, which means it will pass up one leg and down the other, only reading the composition of your lower body. That coupled with the fact that most people will not keep it clean all the time (myself included) means that the readings will be off. Therefore I only use it as a point of reference to see if my fat/muscle is fluctuating. It has been quite accurate for actual weight.
