1. It is loose leaf, so that I can remove the pages that don't apply to my life.
2. It comes with a CD that you can use to print up more copies of the pages in the book. If you have six children and they provide pages enough for two, no problem, just print a few extra. Or, if you make a glaring mistake on a page, you can remove it and print another. Furthermore, there are some pages that are included on the CD that aren't in the book, probably because they aren't typical for many people. Single parenting is an example. There are forms you can use as extra pages for those questions you couldn't answer briefly.
I also like that the questions are pretty open ended and include the type of information that you might expect to be of interest to your children and grandchildren. No questions about your sex life, etc.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to record information about their life. I've tried, and enjoyed, several other books. However, this one is, without question, the best there is!
Great for passing down from generation to generation. Has interesting questions that aren't so obvious.
Good for mother's/father's day as well.
