Sommer has written a cute depiction of a Mom Blogger explaining her job to her daughter Josie. It breaks it down for the kids in basic terms and explains our job to them in a fun and entertaining way. I've read it to my own son several times because he has chosen it as part of his bedtime reading on many occasions. The illustrations are colorful and cute and the story is a great length to keep them interested. --Safemama.com
Sommer Poquette, the mom behind Green and Clean Mom has made it easier for mommy bloggers to share what they do with their kids. Her new book My Mommy is a Blogger is a beautifully illustrated story that explains what bloggers do in terms that kids can understand. In her book, she tells the story of Josie, a little girl who can t wait for her mommy to talk to her kindergarten class about her job. --Rachel with Busy Mommy Media
I honestly can t rave enough about this Children s book as that literally explains what it means to be a blogger. I've had the pleasure of connecting with Sommer in real life too and I m so thrilled that she has penned this successful children s book about blogging. --Classymommy.com

As bloggers we have so many thing to worry about - sponsors, events, ranking from Google or Alexa, but how do you think you daughter or son understands your happy "I got higher rank from Google" dance?
It is an amazing story of how a little girl understands the world of blogging through her own eyes and explains it to other kids
This book is hilarious! I am not joking! I honestly don't want to say anything at all just because I want you to find it out for yourself. All I can say is that I caught myself laughing on every other page.
Do your kids want to be bloggers? Sommer Poquette has Digital Activities book for Children Pre-K through Third Grade walking them through basics of blogging.
"A young child may not be ready for published blogging, but they can learn what blogs are, how they can be used, key components of a quality post, and hints for good storytelling. All of these skills will help students to become great
I bought this book so I could take it to career day at school and read it to the class. It does a fantastic job of explaining what blogging is and what it means to have a career blogging. It's presented as exactly that; a mom who goes to school for career day and she takes questions from kids and gently corrects the things they don't quite get right (such as getting excited about Oogle instead of Google), and also feel that they would be excellent bloggers because THEY have pajamas they could wear while working, too.
And in fact, everyone has a story to tell, especially children. This book does a great job of giving kids one more way to think about expressing themselves as a career.
This book explains in simple and fun terms what blogging is, I think I should pass this around to my friends and family as well. Because they have no clue what I do either!

My Mommy Is A Blogger explains what a blogger does in an entertaining way and is really well written, adorably illustrated and charming from cover to cover. We still read it as one of our regular books at bedtime. My kids love the story. I highly recommend it!
