My Sister's Keeper is a pretty good novel. There is enough excitement, romance and mystery to make it an enjoyable read, but it does run the gamut on genre. Candi, the heroine, finds out she has a niece when her sister, Jolene, leaves the baby on her doorstep. Jolene's spent the last few years away from her family, but she knows she can count on Candi to take care of her baby while she's running from her latest trouble. Luke, the handsome FBI agent pursuing Jolene, is a good romantic lead for the story. I did enjoy the story and found it a good way to spend a weekend, but it's a little strange to go from a hot and descriptive romantic scene to religious references in just a few pages. I would recommend this novel to my friends, but it wouldn't be the top one on my list.
I was a bit disappointed in the ending. While it was a happy ending, it was rather abrupt and without much finesse. But maybe I was expecting more from the author. So, try it and see for yourself.

Wish I had more time to to spare to read so I can read the others in the series. I like Enda's style.
