Nia isn't happy that her stepbrother Chase is coming home, but she is happy for her stepmother. She isn't trusting that he will be around for long and figures that he will leave as soon as possible. Chase gets home and he acts like everything's ok and it's just a normal visit. Nia is uncomfortable with her feelings for him and the attraction that she feels
Chase takes one look at Nia and decides that he needs to have her. Nia wasn't what he expected or what he thought he needed. As he gets to know her, he just knows that he wants more.
I liked that Chase actually followed through on what he said he was going to do and didn't act like a big shot (other than at first). Nia was so selfless and caring towards their parents, it was sweet. There was a little bit of angst, but it gets worked out. Loved the happy ever after. I recommend giving this book a read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and this is an honest review.
When he returns home to get away from a stalker, pressure and to visit his mother who has dementia he is surprised to see the changes in his step sister Nia.
What hasn’t changed is her dislike of him which has grown over the years and his absence. He is determined to change this opinion.
I received a copy of this book and I am volunteering to leave a review. It is a great story with drama, forbidden and forgiveness.
Just the right length for a quick and entertaining read.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.
