Reaching the small town of Honeysuckle Hill, she went immediately to see a mechanic to fix her car and continue travel, but her life would be stationed in that town for a few days. First, because what her car needs would take a week to arrive. Second, because there she found her old friend, whose friendship had been interrupted because she did not believe him when he told her that her fiance cheated on her, Beau Rodney. Detail: Beau was the mechanic.
What would such a talented lawyer with a guaranteed job be doing at that end of the world working as a mechanic?
As well as Dee (Delaney), who had family secrets explaining why her business had gone bankrupt and she was leaving for a new job in Florida, Beau had postponed his beginning as a lawyer at his grandfather's office because he needed to keep his father's garage , who had recently died, and his brother, Brendan, had traveled for the third time to Afghanistan.
In the days that followed, Beau and Dee had their friendship back, and seizing the opportunity, Beau was finally going to try to win over the woman he had long been in love with.
But perhaps the plan that each had for their future did not coincide and the feeling that was beginning to be born could not be sustained.
Is there any possibility of change?
And what does happen when Dee meets face-to-face with the new fiancee of her ex-fiance?
Drama, romance, second chance.
A story to make you sigh and smile.
Like I said super quick and sweet. This a pretty good story if you are not looking for something super deep and complex, but something short and sweet with a satisfying happy ending. That's all I got for My Sweet Home Alabama.

Delaney's day is saved when her ailing car manages to chug into the small town of Honeysuckle Hill and she finds the town's lone mechanic on duty. There's just one, tiny problem. The grease-covered car pro turns out to be the college friend that Delaney hasn't spoken to in months: Beau Rodney.
They didn't exactly part on good terms, (understatement of the year), and now Delaney is at Beau's mercy to get her out of Alabama and on to her new life.
They could tolerate each other long enough to get her car fixed, right? Right?
If you're looking for a short and sweet romance this summer, (on a beach, by the pool, on the couch - the location is up to you), then you'll love this (what I hope is the first of many) Honeysuckle Hill novella.
