With much sadness that the series is now over, I highly recommend the entire series, including Season 7. The writing is so smart and the acting is hilarious. If only there would be more series like this on TV!

I have been in awe of the writers and actors of 30 Rock since the beginning. They never take the easy way out. Another great show.

Tina Fey and crew threw together an incredible final season, planned certainly taking notes from the Mary Tyler Moore show (see the AVClub.com for an excellent breakdown of this concept), in order to wrap up all of our beloved characters and storylines and really show off what makes this show spectacular. Sad to see it go, but with this season they've absolutely gone out on top, which makes the emotional beats that pop up this season all the more effective.

Sadly 30 Rock was bound to have to end. The ratings were never really there, but show was thankfully never punished for that. This was really the natural conclusion to the show. Of course it could have gone on for years, but should it have? The story ties up all the loose ends and is not overly sentimental. You get the show is coming to a close, but you don't get beaten over the head with it. Fey and Baldwin's performances are equally wonderful.

30 Rock is my 'Seinfeld'. I can watch episodes over and over and still crack up. Luckily I have Netflix so I have access to the prior 6 seasons. I've only seen a few episodes of season 7, and of course I love it.

I love 30 Rock. I love everything about it. I am shattered that it's all over. I loved Season 7, but I watched it with a growing sense of dread as I got closer to the final episode. Not a very critical or, probably, useful review, but there you go.

I am a fan of this show and now have all 7 seasons on DVD. The first five are great; the writing is superb and the actors are great. The sixth season was pretty good but the show was getting close to jumping the shark. But the plot lines in season 7 are pretty weak, it's almost like the writers and actors were already looking for their next jobs and their heart wasn't in it. But unlike some sitcoms, at least the network let them have a finale season and show to tie things up for the viewers. Also, season 7 only had about 12 episodes, about half of what was in a regular season. So if you are a fan and have the other six seasons go ahead and buy this one when the price is right. If you don't collect all of the seasons, this is not the one for the usual snappy writing and clever acting, the first five seasons are the ones to buy and watch.
