Do you like Mad Libs? Are you used to going out on terrible dates? Then this is the game for you!!
Take a moment of putting the door together and then gather a couple of friends and start playing!! The goal is to collect three trait cards of the same color and put them into play. But beware!! Your friends want to go on a date as much as you do and may try to sabotage your chances. If you open the door and receive a date, you've won!! Read your date out loud to your jealous friends using your three traits. However, if you open the door and it is catfished, then you have to start all over.
It's a stupid, quick game but it gave me and my friends a good laugh. We had to keep checking all the different action cards and how to play them and after a while, it got easier. So if you are looking for a game that you can play in 15 minutes and have a sense of humor, then buy it!! But I got it for $10 and I don't think it's worth much more than that
Wasn’t going to write a review but it’s $30! And Honestly this game catfished me I thought it looked like so much fun but was actually so boring and not funny don’t waste your money buy a plain deck of cards cause it’s more fun than this 🤢
Was fun for game night with the girls but you can’t play it for long with the limited deck of cards. There should be larger selection of trait cards or after round three you’ve read them all.
This game is horrible. We purchased all 4 of the parody games...this was the worst. First of all, the directions and setup were difficult to figure out. We kept finding ourselves going sure, that sounds good to me...let's do it that way. Second, the traits are horrid, there are no good ones so really...why do I even want a date with someone who eats roadkill?... Lastly, when you get to the end to figure out if you are catfished or not we decided to read all the possibilities...there are no good dates. So no one ever really wins...worst game I've played...ever.
What a terrible, lazy, poorly conceived rip off of the classic game. The biggest sin is not being funny. The creators think they're being clever but it's like small children who whisper "doody" and think it's the height of hilarity. And on top of that, the game itself is just boring. Took us longer to set up the game than play and decide it was worthless.
