A beautifully designed single-column Bible using the NASB. The Bible text is a comfortable reading size and is presented in paragraph format. In this Bible, the references are in the margin and at the back are 15 colour maps and a concordance. The Bible is printed on India paper and bound in calf split leather.

I agree with all the reviews raving over this Bible. The print is easy to read. Comparing to another Bible with a larger font the Clarion just seems bigger and easier on the eyes.
The one thing that I have not seen on any review here or through out the net is the mention of the paper tone. The paper has a warm tone to it. It is slight but there. Other Bibles have white paper. This is a soft white with a subtle warmth to it. A great compliment to the leather cover and contributes to it's natural earthy look. I absolutely love it.
Update: I had a problem with the first Bible. The binding looked like it was coming undone at the bottom. I rated it high thinking I just got a dud. The replacement Amazon (#1 in Service) promptly sent me was defective as well. The front liner page was bent along with the next two thick pages. I was just going to live with it until I saw another defect. There was a tear on a page. So, this one is going back as well. I am concerned that I have never had a faulty book before. I am looking at the cheap Bibles I have that are made without these errors. Considering the other reviewer who made multiple returns, I am wondering if this distributor is buying defective books that were returned by other vendors and selling them on Amazon. This current Bible looks used. If the 3rd Bible comes back defective that would solidify my opinion. I will then buy from another vendor and report back here. See photos below.
Note, I am not changing my opinion of the Bible. This thing is beautiful. It's just made really sloppy or this vendor is selling used returns that were 1 in a 1,000.
Update. Got replacement. There is a sound of dried up glue cracking when I open front cover. Unacceptable for the bible of a such price point. I am done with Cambridge bible for now. Maybe if I have more money I will try goatskin version in future.
Update2. After numerous exchanges I finally found non-defective bible. But I won't change my star rating. This bible is beautiful and it has absolutely gorgeous font I ever saw, the paper, while thin does has those qualities you can find in only rich good paper. leather covering is also perfect. But....it is not made to last!!!!! You must baby this baby bible. You can't be rough with it. Even though it's smyth sewn, it is not actually sewn to leather covers, you can feel it will give up if you aren't careful with it. It is by no means a LCBP made bible. In all perfect bible for your home library. But nothing in a way traveling, throw in you bag, kind of bible. And 128 dollars bible shouldn't be like that. It must be beautiful but it must be strong in construction too.
