I'm not a hardcore "gamer," so I'm not as hard-to-please as lot of the gaming fanatics. Basically, give me a good adventure story with good characters that I can interact with and I'm happy. I love the old Gabriel Knight games, the Broken Sword series, Runaway series, some of the older Trek games like 25th Anniversary/Judgement Rites, DS9 Harbinger and The Fallen, and epic titles like Syberia and Dreamfall--that's my speed. Adventure games with great characters and great stories. For me, NCIS (once of my favorite shows) seemed like a no-brainer to buy. I already love the characters and I expected I'd enjoy the process of discovering a "lost episode" of the series and get to solve a mystery along the way. Sadly, this may be the WORST game I have ever played. Looking past the fact that the characters are voiced by different actors than in the show, the story (what little story there is) is dull, the characters are dull and unrecognizable other than their familiar-looking images, and the game play is *insultingly* easy. I think they figured that only "old people" (over 30) watch NCIS and thus only "old people" will buy this game--and "old people" are stupid, so we better insult their intelligence all the way to the end. (Forget that we grew up on Atari and Nintendo and classic adventure games probably before the designers of this game were born--they had to make it "easy" for us.) Well, it's dull and repetitive and repetitive and repetitive--and not even consistent with established procedures in the series. Very disappointed--and, frankly, appalled. And I'm not that hard to please.

The graphics are quite choppy but that's typical for a game like this. There are only 4 cases to solve in the game and it only takes an afternoon to finish it. That's not to say that it's not enjoyable but don't expect several days worth of gaming from this. The only two actors from the show who lent their voices to this game were David McCallum as Ducky and Robert Wagner (who has only been on the show a couple of times) as Anthony DiNozzo Sr., which gets annoying because you tend to want the game's characters to sound like the show's.

All that being said, I wish I had waited until the game had been out for some time and the price had dropped to purchase it. Not really worth almost $30 for it.

I enjoy the program, but downloading it was a pain. It took three times to get it on to my computer. There was no app except a file, and I had to guess which was the execute file. Then I had to go back to the site to get the license # to open the file. Once I got it all figured out the game worked very well.

While the game story lines were interesting, the graphics were poor. Within a scene, one could not go anyplace one wanted to but only to certain positions where a bright vertical "pole" pops up when at destination (or indicating where one could move to). One cannot scan around the scene to view it from any desire angle to look where one thinks clues might be. Often one cannot leave a scene until all of the clues were found (often with hints). There are no clues-within-clues, i.e., one does not need to examine clues once they are found for additional information. The forensic tools are rather simple. One cannot save the game whenever one wants but the game only saves automatically at certain points. If one exits early, the game loses all moves since it's the last automatic save. Fortunately the characters are good representations of the TV characters but their movement is often quite jerky.

This game though a little less complex than the CSI games is still enjoyable. It is a a little different than CSI because you actually play the roles of some of the characters. THe deduction board where you pair clues to determine what suspect did what is interesting and reminds me of simiiar boards in Sherlock Holmes games. Helpling Ducky move bodies though it tests mouse skills adds nothing to the game. Overall it is well worth playing.

A fun and interesting game, but over too soon.
I did like that each new case played upon the previous ones to make one total case.
Some of the required actions can be some what difficult. Such as having to scroll the mouse wheel while holding the left mouse button down Also, trying to keep the cursor on a moving vehicle as it twists & turns on roads can be troublesome at times.

I finished this game in 2 days. It was pretty easy to understand, but it was annoying that it required internet access to unlock and play. The graphics are great, really realistic, and the game runs really well on my computer (Not slow and no glitches.) Most of the characters look and sound like themselves, except Tony and Ziva, and sometimes Gibbs. But it was worth it. The 'episodes' were interesting.
