I gave it four stars because the thumb drill didn't help. I figured out how to drill it and another issue was that I couldn't tell how much ink I needed to put into the cartridge because there is no syringe or measurement on the container.
Anyways, product works fine on my printer. I was able to run print head alignment without problems. Printed a few coupons fine but the printer software still prompts that ink is low which isn't really a big deal.
Bottom line, you get what you pay for. If you are the type that can't handle taking time to put ink and having to deal with ink mess and whine about it. Then go buy the $40 worth ink cartridge
I am still using this refill kit as of this writing. There's about 1/4 black ink refill left and 2/4's on the color ones (blue, cyan, yellow). And I print a lot of coupons using the Grayscale & economy setting on the printer.

The black ink refill worked great! I had no problems with the black... However the colors for some reason just did not work well with our cartridge. Read morePublished 10 months ago by snyy
Can be difficult to use. The instructions are not the best, they can be very vague when it comes to actually putting the ink in.Published 20 months ago by Owen S.
