Step 3Put about 3-4 in of underlay soil into each pocket. Then take the plants out of the pots and put them in the planter pockets. Then fill the gap in the pocket with soil and compress it tightly. |
Step 4Then water it. |

No mess on my floor, livens the room!

I like that this planter has allowed me to keep gardening indoors while my outdoor garden is finishing up for the year. I used nursery style nonwoven bags as liners in the pockets. This is my first time using fabric planters indoors and I wanted to keep them "clean" in case I decide to change out a plant without disturbing the others. I am excited to watch the effects of air pruning. So far weekly watering has been enough, but where I live the humidity has been over 80 percent, so not sure how the winter dryness will effect that. This planter hangs from the banister over my stairs and is narrow enough not to be in the way. The little waterproof pocket at the bottom caught the excess water that came from me watering (still getting used to how much to give each pocket section).

Because the bottom "spill" pocket is so useless i chose to use plastic ziplock baggies to line each pocket to prevent mess and stop dripping as well as then using twine water feed lines. I'm disappointed that the bottom water drip pocket would clearly leak and create a mess.

The bottom "spill" pocket is nothing like it is shown in the ad, hence the average rating because I feel this is deliberate false advertising and misleading. It's durable fabric and seems to be well made/sturdy, but, after looking into other similar products that carry a prop 65 warning, I just hope this one is safe.Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 8, 2021

Love the hanging pockets! Bought 2 and planted herbs and a couple flowers in them. Hung them on a pallet. Plan to run a dripper. Well made and very easy to hang by loops or grommets. Happy cooking!
