As a side note, in case you might be wondering why this study bible was named the "Quest" study bible... "Quest" is shortened for "Question" - which is what this study bible does, it asks "questions" and gives answers. What a brilliant concept!
However, if you're serious about understanding the Bible in either a historical or a theological context and you're willing to invest significant time and effort into it, then this study Bible will probably not quench your thirst and you should look for a more serious guide. I'm often left wondering about passages and am sometimes unsatisfied by the short notes on the sides of the pages. Still, I have to say this is a very good resource, all things considered.
