The only downside to this Bible is that due to it's compact nature, the words are quite small. I've had a few students complain about being able to read it well. There is a normal size version of this Bible but it's much bigger and bulkier than this one. If you can overlook that it's a great Bible for students.
My only problem with the item was that it was labeled as new, in packaging. Well yes, there was a very thin layer of plastic surrounding the book, but it already had 2 large holes in it (which did not look appealing), so I paid more for the New book, but ended up needing to take the plastic wrapping off anyway before giving it as a gift for a better, physical-looking appeal.
Otherwise, yes I do recommend this product.
Be aware that the type font is, necessarily, very small.

Love the size but print too small... guess that is the reason the book is small. Love the lightweight size.Published 6 months ago by slw
As a youth minister, I give these to students fairly often. It is full of applicable content to their lives today and makes for a great gift or a great student's first Bible.Published on December 2, 2013 by Kevin Chval
