As a lady of a certain age, I am very particular about what I products I put on my face. I’ve purchased expensive moisturizers and drug store items, and this one is the best so far. I recently read a review comparing the ingredients of this product to those in Le Mer. The ingredients are similar, but the price is not. I’ve been using this twice a day for nearly a week. I love the creamy way it goes on. It is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave a film. My skin feels baby butt soft. I also use it on my hands and feet at bedtime. The price is minimal for the enormous container of product you get. This is a must buy!

I may be in the minority here since I"m a guy and I use this stuff on a daily basis. I have used Nivea products for a number of years, namely the post-shave balm and face wash, and I've always had good results. This is the first time I've ever purchased any of the classic Nivea cream though and I must admit I am glad I did. I use this cream daily for an aftershave moisturizer, face/hand cream, and on my forearms/elbows as they tend to get rather dry depending on the time of year. This cream is quite amazing, and it works very well for its intended purpose. I apply it small amounts on my fingertips and a little goes a long way, for me at least. The scent is pleasant and it doesn't linger for very long after application. I also have not found the cream to be greasy or causing my skin to breakout at all after using it. The tin is huge and I assume it will outlive me at the rate I am using it. It feels a little weird reviewing this as I know it is generally a product for women, but I must say it works really well for men too and I highly recommend it.

I'm quite happy with my purchase of an old school product that get's the job done. It's been working wonders on my hands and my face tolerates it very well.

I'd like to point out that there seems to be a lot of debate on if this is as good as the European version. I've studied the ingredients and they look to be identical. They just don't look identical because different terms/names are used for some ingredients, which I assume is due to different labeling requirements. The most obvious difference that most people wouldn't fuss over is the use of "water" on the US version and "aqua" on the European as most Americans know that "aqua" means water. Its the debate over mineral oil where this becomes an issue.

The US version is clearly labeled as having "mineral oil", the European version is not. So I've seen many people claim there is none in that version. However it does have "Paraffinum Liquidum" or liquid paraffin, which is just a specific type of mineral oil. With that in mind I see no reason paying twice as much for an imported version of a product that is essentially the exact same thing as what is produced for the market I'm residing in.

I ordered this yesterday and I’ve already got it on me lol

Just wanted to chime in with a review since when I was looking at this yesterday before ordering I saw that most of the picture reviews were of shipping mishaps. As you can clearly see from the pictures I uploaded, it came clean, sealed and without incident. I didn’t let those negative reviews sway me and you shouldn’t either.

I might add it’s 92 degrees today, and it was still fine. And the price is great for the weight. I’ve been using this stuff for years. It has a clean mild scent and isn’t too feminine. Love this stuff. Don’t hesitate!

And this is a legit review. I paid for mine. Cheap i might add!
Edit: Forgot to mention, this thing is huge haha! Its around 4" wide and 2.5"tall easily. Possibly a tad bigger.
I'm so used to the small travel sides ones. This was a pleasant surprise.

It's funny how many overpriced creams that I've purchased but they still don't measure up to Nivea creme. What my mom and my grandma and probably my grandma's ma used (this stuff was made back in 1911) is still the best. Listen to your mom!

in the harsh winter months.......

I have used Nivea for years - most likely because my mom always used it. I find that it is one of the best products for preventing and treating dry skin. While I use the Nivea on my arms and legs, I also keep it by my bed to put on my feet before getting in bed for the night. It works wonders for dry feet - which I need. I live in AZ so we have a very dry climate.

子供の体に塗るのにドラッグストアで購入したニベアの青缶が良かったのですが、全身塗るとすぐに無くなるため、Amazonで大容量を発見し「これはいいぞ！」と購入。
ところが、いざ使ってみると、クリームの硬さや伸びが全然違って、よく見たら以前使っていた小さいサイズのものは日本製、この大容量のものはドイツ製で、配合されている成分も全然違いました。
ニベアなのでドイツが本場だとは思うのですが、日本のニベア花王のものを使い慣れていて気に入っていたので、同じものだと思ってたのに違った、というショックは大きかったです。
保湿力は同じくらい高いですが、個人的な使い心地の好みは日本製の方なので、これが無くなったらまた日本製の方に戻りたいと思います。
皆様、購入時、お気をつけ下さい。

最近まで高額な化粧品をずっと使ってきましたが、肌にだんだん合わなくなってきたのでやめてしまいました。
お風呂上がりに軽く化粧水をつけた後全身にニベアを塗り込んでいます。顔や手はマッサージするように時間をかけて塗っています。小じわを気にして美容液や小じわを目立たなくするジェルやクリームを塗るよりもたっぷりめのニベアの方が私には合っていたようで小じわやほうれい線がきれいに無くなってしまいました。

マッサージの効果もあったのでしょうが「痩せた?」「顔小さくなった」「シワが無い」と周りから言われるようなってうれしい悲鳴です。
安いので惜しげも無くたっぷりと塗ってマッサージしたのでいろいろな効果が出たのだと思います。
特大サイズは使いでがあって安いのが魅力です。
