At first this replacement part seemed perfect and worked really well for about two months. Then I started noticing a little leaking, and now 4 months later there's a puddle to clean from my blender each time I use it. I can clearly see 4 thin cracks in this replacement part. The blade is fine and fits snugly in the blender, but I wonder if the casing around it is slightly too big for the cups used in model BL480D 69 DOB. Unfortunately, I'm too late for a refund or replacement, so let me warn others that this part is not durable.

Then using a few hours later there was black and brown fluid leaking out of it. It appears the bearings corroded and went bad. Tried to clean them up and tried again but still had brown crude pouring out the bottom and you can hear grining when you manually spin the blades. Blades still worked great but inside I'm guessing not stainless steel and went bad. Worked great until then though.
