If you just want a phone that just works, I highly recommend giving this one a try. The os is smooth, your privacy is respected, and you don't have spam in your face 24/7. It gets you in and out of your life without requiring you to spend hours of your time on the web looking for solutions and reviews for the most basic applications.
Aesthetically it is very sleek and thin. A pretty decent size screen. I would say in this department the 925 is more appealing than any Iphone prior to the 6.
The camera is very nice and for a phone that is already pretty dated it competes with newer phones.
The phone though has bugs. Within in 6 months this is going to be the second time I will be replacing the headphone jack due to it being damaged. I'm not sure what is causing this. I have never had this problem with any previous phones. I figured the first time it was due to bad habits such as leaving my headphones in the jack while not in use or maybe accidentally twisting the headphones. It could be that my sol republic headphones are causing this but regardless if that is the case I did not have this problem with the 710. I used sol republic, cheap gummy JVCs, scull candy and other headphones with my 710 and never came across this problem.
Second within the last month my phone no longer flips the screen depending on my position. For most apps I now have to keep my phone horizontal at all times. The camera is not affected by this luckily. Also the home screen and certain apps function vertically.
Overall I'm not too satisfied. I like my 925. But in my advice I would suggest you to pay a little extra for the 1020 which is probably a much more completed product
Since this phone is from a foreign country, it will not have US warranty. I just found out about this today.
About the phone's qualilty,
Pros: Fast performance, brilliant camera, solid build quality.
Cons: low resolution screen with Pentile Oled display (not really sharp), overheating (heavy games...), mediocre battery life.
Network and call quality: call quality is OK with T-mobile network. This phone does not support VoLTE (HD Voice). Furthermore, it also cannot use T-mobile's 4G LTE network. The phone is only able to ultilize HSPA+ (maximum speed is just 7.2 mbps).
This phone in particular feels nice in hand. It looks pretty good with the metal cover, and I assume it's at least somewhat resistant to scuffing and dents. More so than your regular plastic. But so far I haven't dropped it to be sure. And I'm not going to drop it just to try it.
The battery life is adequate, I charge mine overnight, and the charge lasts me through the day. I've paired this with my car via bluetooth, and it works better than some other phones.
The only downside, and that's why the missing star is that I've had the phone freeze up on me twice. Soft reset has helped though, so it hasn't been more dangerous than that, but it's still an annoyance.
