The Noon Vr with an iPhone 6 is cool for the first few minutes but is not worth $90.00. The noon vr is borderline useless meaning the videos they have available is interesting for maybe 5 minutes.

Google cardboard is not really usable with this because the headset lacks a NFC or button so you have to preload anything you want to view then put the goggles on.
Minutes after using the headset there was some fogging.
On the iPhone 6 you will see the pixels.
It looks like the screen was constructed out of really small cubes so if you have an iphone 6 it will be a bit disappointing.

I'm torn because if I had bought one of the cheaper google cardboard headsets, which are inferior based on other peoples reviews, I would have been mad at myself for not spending the extra to get the noon vr but now that I've used the noon vr I'm mad that I just didn't go with the google cardboard and waited patiently for VR 2.0 sometime in 2017 or 2018. If I could go back in time to two days ago I would have told myself not to waste my money on this.

Overall its a cool experience but not $90 worth.

So I've been looking for a cardboard replacement for my iPhone 6s. I have a DK2 and was looking for something that would give a pretty good experience for the iPhone, (knowing that it couldn't live up to DK2 experience). With the iPhone and cardboard, the right and left edge of the screen bevel is too noticeable and I was hoping that a higher quality cardboard substitute would fix this. First I purchased a Homido, but it suffered from the exact same problem as well as being really small on the face, and with not great focus abilities. I read a few bad reviews about the noon, so my expectations weren't too high.

Got it yesterday and I have to say for an iPhone 6, it really is quite good. It has these little plastic knobs below the phone that you adjust so the phone sits at the right height, and the white strap is solid and durable looking and is really pretty easy to pull on and off. With the iPhone 6, the black cover DOES fit (a problem with bigger phones) and the focus knob DEFINITELY works and I was able to get sharp focus with no problem. The inability to change the lens pupil distance was not an issue at all. The FOV is very good and unlike every cardboard and the Homido, although you can just barely see the bevel, its almost invisible. The app for the noon is ok, and the tap on the back of the screen to bring up settings (this uses motion sensors on your phone, not a physical button) worked perfectly for me and I don't see what others were complaining about. There is NO physical mag button though, so this could be a problem with other apps that use this. The foam is not that comfortable, but if you use the top strap its not too bad a fit and shouldn't be too big an issue.

All in all not a bad device while we wait for the consumer Oculus or a more expensive iPhone targeted device. if you have an iPhone 6, you will definitely be happier with the noon over the Homido.

i would imagine it would work well with the iPhone 6+ which would completely fix the bevel issue. the black snap on cover would not fit though.

UPDATE
Got an iphone6s Plus for Christmas and it fits perfectly although you can't snap on the cover over the phone. Heavier phone puts weight on the nose and this can cause problems with extended use as the nose pad isn't too thick. Will try to add some adhesive foam tape which should fix the problem.

I bought one of these a several days ago. Definitely not worth $89, I would say $40 at the most, it's just a molded plastic holder for a phone with two lenses. I would not buy it again, here's why:
1. I have a medium size head and its tight fitting on me.
2. Due to the tight fit and the plastic build fogging is a major problem.
3. The lens adjustment really doesn't seem to do anything significant. I didn't notice a change when adjusting it.
4. If you use an iPhone 6 like I do, then expect to see a screen with lots of pixels! They show up in all their colorful glory and are a significant distraction.
5. The content on the app that comes with the headset just isn't that good.
6. I'm still trying to figure it out but after several days I still can't get Netflix, YouTube, or downloaded movies to play. Not that I would want to watch a feature length movie on this thing anyway.
7. If your just a VR enthusiast who wants to play with a phone holder and check out the technology then this should be fine. If you're someone who wants a usable piece of technology then this is just not mature enough. I think the calendar is against them at this point, not that they are any different from the other VR phone holders it's just the concept doesn't work very well. Hopefully the Rift headset and the Microsoft glasses will be better.
8. As I said the app isn't that good and the content isn't either. I did find that it played my own phone videos better and they were fun to watch for the first few minutes.
9. Build quality is ok, it's just light weight plastic so what else is there to say. I also didn't find it hard on my nose.
Hope that helps if your researching or considering buying one of these types of headsets.
