I had to restore my sl-1800 MK1 dust cover, I had tried some polishing kit from Wal-Mart with pretty poor results. So, I searched for a good restoration polish and all the reviews I came across said the novus system was great. I figured what do I have to loose? So I ordered the no 2. Well. You can see the results from my before and after photos. Amazing! It simply works!

    This is my first review ever. I had to. This product literally blew it away. I have music album that is a 6-CD set, so to replace a scratched one I would have to buy the whole set. Well, I accidentally dumped them off the shelf the other day and CD #2 fell out and scraped against another jewel case. It caused the CD to malfunction and skip and sputter right out of the gates when I stuck it in the CD player.

    Well, I thought I’d give this stuff a try. I got a micro-fiber rag, shook the bottle, dabbed a drop on the scratched area, rubbed it fairly vigorously for about 15 seconds, noticed it was dry, and then buffed just enough to get the residue off.

    Perfection!! I couldn’t believe it. The scratch was completely gone and the disc played perfectly. Say what you want about this product. It just saved me 40-80 dollars plus to replace the CD set. Awesome!!

    So I'm willing to admit I've been on a DIY kick since my divorce. Came home one night to see the polycarbonate windshield of my dirt bike was scratched so I figured I'd try to restore it myself. Now, I have used this family of products to restore headlights with near flawless results. The windshield turned good enough for my standards. I'd highly recommend all 3 of these of the NOVUS products for those. Glasses are a different story.

    Ya see, I was feeling pretty confident whipping out the kit to see if I can make the ol' specticals look factory new. Did not go as planned. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I can't see out of them anymore, and it does take out the minor scratches in the lenses, but it messed with the worn and faded antiwhatever was on them and makes them look subpar now. Am I upset? Nah, not really. I took the gamble and lost.

    Anyways, I like the family if products, I'd still recommend using all 3 of them. Just not for glasses.

    I couldn’t remember the stuff my father used to use to take the scratches out of eyeglasses so I figured I would give this a try.

    It worked on some of the tiny ones but the more prominent ones, it did nothing, and that was the majority of scratches on the glasses!

    I will have to try and find the pair I currently have from Foster Grant. The problem I had was that they came in a pack of 10 at Costco but there was only one pair that I liked.

    I finally found the online and they were charging more for one pair than I paid for the 10!

    The clear plastic at the back of our recently acquired mx-5 was very hard to see through and hazy. Didn't take much effort but wiping with this and it was gone. Worked really well with the piano black trim too.

    Didn't make it perfect as there's still light scratching left but it's loads better. Probably could make it better with more time but it's already much better.
