I use this every day. In fact, I have it on auto-delivery! I've tried other stevia brands but they have added ingredients. This one doesn't. It's just stevia, and organic at that. With the government saying aspartame causes cancer, I think more people should try this. I'm Southern. I LOVE my sweet tea, but I don't want sugar or corn syrup, or any artificial sweeteners in it. This tastes soo good! Not a chemical taste at all. Sure, they have to process it, but sugar is also processed! Have you ever cut a piece of sugar cane? You know how hard that is, literally and figuratively! This is made by God, then processed in a factory with no additives!! Yay!! That's the best part!! If you think it tastes funny, (I never had, not even the first time I tried it in my iced tea), just stick with it. Remember-- a little bit goes a LONG way. This stuff is super sweet!Reminder--sugar affects one's blood sugar! STEVIA DOES NOT!! My A1C is always good. Below 100!I even carry a small shaker container in my purse so I'm never having to use a pink, blue, or yellow packet!Try it! I think you'll like it!!

For a couple years I did not buy this product and instead opted for a less expensive brand. Unfortunately, for the "other" brand, quality kept shifting. At times it was okay, other times if was horrible. This product, NOW Foods Better Stevia has great quality control. The product is very consistent in texture and taste. From 1st scoop to last, it stays smooth and doesn't cake. NOW, (pun intended) I don't mind paying a little more for a good quality product.

This has just one ingredient - pure organic stevia extract. There are no corn based filler ingredients such as maltodextrin (found in many other powdered stevia products) or anything else in here.

The flavor is excellent, it tastes clean and crisp when you use the right amount. Keep in mind you only need a tiny bit of this stuff to sweeten anything. Less than 1/4 tsp. is enough to make 20oz of water as sweet as a fizzy drink. All stevia can have a slightly bitter aftertaste if you use too much of it, if it tastes bitter just reduce the amount you are using.

This concentrated powder will last a long time. It may seem expensive for such a small package, but you will only be using tiny dashes of it at a time. The value per serving is much better than most liquid stevias or powders with filler ingredients.

-- Tip for using (any) stevia in beverages and smoothies, not related to this product specifically --

I find that stevia tastes better in a recipe with any of the following (not all together):

- Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
- Lemon Flavor such as Frontier Lemon Flavor Certified Organic, 2-Ounce Bottle
- Citric Acid
- A dash of sea salt
- Electrolite drink powders that contain magnesium such as Alacer Corp. ElectroMIX Emergen-C Lemon-Lime - Drink Mix: 30 PKTS (4.2 oz) or Natural Vitality Natural Magnesium Calm Original
- A very small amount of real sugar
- Any fresh fruit

These all seem to enhance the flavor, and sometimes can make the taste indistinguishable from sugar. Of course the last two (sugar and fruit) are going to add calories and carbohydrates that may not be acceptable for some people, but they really can be magic in the right recipe. If you can't have carbs the other things will work just as well sometimes. Experiment and find something that tastes good to you.

I GAVE THIS PRODUCT A 5-STAR REVIEW, BUT... I couldn't figure out why I was feeling the effects of sugar after consuming this. Stevia does not contain 'fructose', so why was I having some sugar symptoms after consuming NOW Organic Stevia? Reading other reviews about this coming from China and NOT being pure stevia, now makes sense. Until NOW resolves this problem, I will discontinue to purchase NOW stevia. 8/11/24

Stevia is a good alternative to sugar. I do NOT buy stevia with extra additives, and stevia that is not organic, which is 99% of what is available in grocery stores.

This my second 4 oz. bottle of 'NOW Organic Stevia', the first from a local health food store, and the second from Amazon. The first bottle lasted for six months, and that is with using it every day, example: a quarter of a teaspoon will sweeten a bowl of ceral, a third of a teaspoon will sweeten a 20 oz. flavored sparkling water drink.

Stevia contains no fructose and will not spike insulin. Also, stevia does not taste exactly like cane sugar, but is strong and is a different kind of "sweet".

$20 seems like a lot for 4 ounces, but it really does last for months, it's well worth flopping down the twenty bucks.

Not sure this is pure Stevia powder and what kind filling it this added, Not sure this is pure Stevia powder. The reason I gave a 5 so that it can be flow to the top and not be deleted. Until the provider makes it clear what kind of filling it used for the Stevia powder, I suggest not to buy this. It is stated as pure stevia. However, I have been using this for couple months and I noticed that my blood sugar level goes up in the morning every time I used this the night being other things are the same. I have been testing my blood sugar level consistently for 7 days to verify this and it goes up every time I used it the night before. I would like the supplier and also Amazon states it clear whether there is any other substances in this stevia before selling it on again.
