I kept this order, but it seemed like it had been previously opened. The scent is really strong and I noticed several people complained. I thought the scent was authentic Clary Sage. Very concentrated.

I have never been disappointed in NOW oils. Their price is very fair compared to other brands without sacrificing the quality.

STRESS/ANXIETY: Has helped my husband so much with his anxiety. I put 2-3 drops on the soles of his feet while he's having a panic attack and it really works magic. Also put 2-3 drops in a wet washcloth and have him put it up to his nose.
This is a wonderful oil to own for stress/anxiety.

PMS/CRAMPS: I suffer from PCOS so I have major PMS and cramps that get me to bend over and have had to go to the ER for.
I couldn't believe how well this oil worked!!! I apply 2-3 drops directly into the area where I suffer cramps and after no longer than 5 mins I can feel a difference. For best results, I apply a heating pad over it. What I do is fill an old sock with rice, put a rubber band to tie it, then stick it in the microwave until it reaches the level of heat you can take (the hotter the better).
Then, apply the drops directly into the part of the sock that you're going to put over your belly. Miracle.
This oil has allowed me to not have to pop pills like a madwoman, but still giving me the same results.

Overall, this oil is a staple in our home and cannot find without it. Smells amazing and does the trick for both my husband's anxiety and my PMS.

Excellent for reducing sweating!

I'm not a doctor or a licensed anything, but I found some information online that suggested that sage can be used to reduce sweating. I sweat A LOT, even when I haven't done anything strenuous.

I had some Clary Sage oil that I had purchased from another supplier on hand and I figured I would try it--if it didn't work, that was fine.

IT WORKED. I went from drowning in sweat and always having clammy armpits to sweating a normal amount. I also stopped sweating through deodorant (!).

Although Clary Sage isn't the most pleasant of scents (to me anyway), it works exceptionally well to reduce sweating. I have seen suggestions to take it as a tea (specially-packaged tea--please don't put essential oils in your tea), but I tried it by putting a few drops of EO in the armpit area of my shirts. Although other EOs have made my skin sensitive, Clary Sage on its own does not seem to. However, please, please, please, check for your own sensitivity before trying this--armpits are actually quite sensitive areas!

The NOW Foods Clary Sage oil smells a bit different from the other EO I was using but works the same. This one reminds me a lot of the scent of Pu Erh tea, which is sort of an earthy, tannic scent. It's not terrible but also not necessarily something I would seek out.

I really like the price of this one and somewhat prefer the scent, too. I will DEFINITELY re-purchase this.

This is a really good oil for a great price!
The clary sage plant has a lengthy history as a medicinal herb. It’s a perennial in the genus Salvi, and its scientific name is salvia sclarea. Clary sage is considered to be one of the top essential oils for hormones, especially in women. Many claims have been made as to its benefits when dealing with cramps, heavy menstrual cycles, hot flashes and hormonal imbalances. It’s also known for its ability to increase circulation, support the digestive system, improve eye health and fight leukemia.
I use this topically and diffuse it. It has helped balance my hormones, ease the pain of my menstrual cramps. I also diffuse to relieve stress. At times I get acne, especially when it's that time of the month. I dap this neet right on the acne. Other ways clary sage helps it relieves insomia, lowers blood pressure by increasing circulation, reduces your cholesterol, kills bacteria and infection, aids digestion.
Also a study conducted at the Department of Immunology, Hellenic Anticancer Institute in Athens, Greece, examined clary sage oi in the role of fighting leukemia. The results showed that the compound in clary sage were able to kill cell lines through the process of apoptosis.

I have used this as a Doula (Labor Support) and also for personal use. It makes a wonderful calming aroma and also a great massage oil (diluted with pure organic coconut oil). Clary sage is calming to the mind and helps relieve tension and pain. During labor it helps the contractions along, and helps the mother relax (obviously bad for a pregnant woman if you are not in labor!!) The quality of this product is fantastic. I had an experience with doterra products, and honestly I found no difference in quality between the two oils. The only difference for me was the price tag. Doterra was over $30 for 15 mL this is about 4 times as much for 1/4 the price. You can't beat it. The website for Now Foods is also very informative. They give you the way the product is pressed or extracted. They also give you the quality right on the bottle. The Clary Sage is 100% clary sage. The Frankincense however is diluted 20% to 80% pure grapeseed oil. I like that they are honest about diluting the more expensive products such as Frankincense. I would highly recommend this product. This is my second bottle of Clary Sage from Now Foods. Absolutely satisfied. The second bottle smells exactly like the first :)
