This stuff is AMAZING. I suffer from severe anxiety, OCD, and depression. I’ve tried regular standard prescribed medication for mental health but after the third one I gave up. I was a little scared at first since the dosage was so high, and I read a review where one guy had trouble breathing after taking it. I think my anxiety sufferer friends should def give it a try, you can also split the pill in half. It’s annoying since it comes in a powder form but it’ll be worth it!

Caused hyperventilation attacks

Can't rate whether it does what it's supposed to do. I had to stop taking it because it caused really scary breathing attacks. I even thought maybe I had somehow started developing asthma or something so I went to the doctor about it before I made the correlation and realized it was the GABA. The Dr referred me to a cardiologist (I have hbp and high cholesterol so I understand why they may have jumped to the conclusion). But I had my appointment yesterday and the cardiologist said my heart health was good and agreed with my initial self-assessment of stress and anxiety. He had never heard of GABA.

I didn't notice the other reviews mentioning "shortness of breath" until after I decided to stop using it and wondered if anyone else had come to a similar conclusion about it. I had stopped taking it and googled it after the 1st couple attacks and all I really found was a couple mentions of cats have breathing issues in some lab studies. So I wrote it off as panic attacks and started taking it again hoping the GABA would work and thinking my anxiety issues were getting out of hand. My attacks (happened about 4 times before I stopped for good) were pretty frightening. "Shortness of breath" just doesn't seem strong enough to describe it. That makes it sound like getting a little "winded" walking a flight of stairs or something. My episodes were full-on uncontrollable hyperventilation attacks that came out of nowhere. I'd never had any kind of panic attacks or breathing issues so it's not something I'd like to happen again or would want to "push through" to see if the pills actually eventually helped. I also had the weird taste in my mouth and tingling extremities mentioned by others too. Oh well.

A completely different kind of sleep.

I’ve been on adderall for years and, while I have no trouble falling asleep and getting a full 7+ hours, I’ve been experiencing aymptoms of someone who doesn’t sleeep well. Aside from general energy levels, cognitive issues, brain zaps, just overall brain gumminess. I suspect the stims have been limiting the depth of sleep and this stuff seems to have restored it.

Jury is still out but so far it just feels right.

Feels very good and nice immediately after 30mins taking 300mg of it. All anxiety gone. For some ppl like me it is acting as stimulant, which many others have also commented. That means it won’t allow to sleep, although there is a feeling of mind relaxation. I took 300mg of it around 11pm and had to take Clonazepam 0.25 mg at 2.00am i.e. after 3hrs to get a good sleep. Since it was quite late in the night, I wondered if I would feel fresh in the morning after waking up. Generally it happens to me that sleeping very late in the night yields very grogginess in the next morning with whole day feeling very low. But, to my surprise I woke up absolutely fresh in the morning, which was beyond my expectations.

Please check at low dosage of 100/200mg GABA first before taking a more dose than this, that how your mind syncs with it. Otherwise, it may be likely that whole night one has keep awake.
