For the money I don't think it gets better than this. Mic issues tho
After using 7.1 headsets for gaming for 5 years I thought it was time to retire them and try something new. These headphones straight out of the box aren't that good for gaming. It's really hard to ping point enemies location, but-- with Dolby Atmos oh boy, thats a whole different story. Buy you will need time to adjust at the different sound of you come from a 7.1 headset. The mic is ok-- not bad but no extremely good either. One thing I didn't like in my personal preference is the volume dial feel REALLY cheap and the 'right' and 'left' plaques throwing out the good sleek aesthetic of this headset. Also, the mic is too BIG and gets on my FOV too much. But again-- you jave to sacrifice something to get something this cheap. NUBWO did a grat job and I would love to see what they could do with a if they were to build a high end headset.Edit: I had these headset for a few months now. For gaming the audio is not bad but you will need to get Dolby or DTS services. In the other hand, on my laptop the mic doesn't work at all. Audio come out but the microphone just doesn't get recognized on my laptop. Tried getting in contact with the Nubwo support they replied to me once and then never got to me back again. Just be careful of you thinking about getting these headset for video conference.Edit: (One year review) I might been a little bit hard by giving this product a 1 start at my second edit BUT I still been using these headsets though. For 25$ these headsets compete with previous 100$+ headsets I had in the past. It really can not get any better than this. If you buy these for gaming you will have no issues at all. Audio come out clean trough the mic, audio is come clean trough the speaker. And with dolby atmos it just a 300+ but at 25+ I truly had not idea how they can sell at this price. Awesome headeset.
