I am VERY familiar with NUCs, and knew this would work for me, however, when I went to disable Driver Signing for something I have been using for years, the unit was locked with bit-locker, and required a key to disable!!! Of course I didn't have the key. I was able to get around it by re-installing Windows, but even then I had to disable bit-locker. WHY would a consumer device be locked with bit-locker???? If I want it locked, then I should lock it myself as the consumer!!

I needed a Windows-based hardware solution that couldn't be virtualized in my all-Mac household and this NUC did the job. This 8gb RAM/128gb SSD configured NUC does what I need it to do, and fast. Setup is super easy and the Widows 10 Pro OS updated without issue. Fan is noticeable at higher loads but can be regulated in the BIOS settings if becomes a nuisance. Overall great value for the size and what It can do.

The USB3 ports and GBE are perfect for the MyBook DUO DAS I use for storage. No issues with heat, noise or performance. Great little machine and highly recommended!

So far so good! It is super small, which I love..smaller than some of my external hard drives. We have had a few aspect ratio issues while streaming but other than that we haven't had any problems. Did come with preloaded extra junk I've had to uninstall. The price was a little high for my liking as well. Overall I would buy it again.

I have ordered this mini pc for my company when we needed to update work stations for over a year and a half now. Recently, I placed an order for 2 of these, and BOTH were defective. I decided to try and order another, to see if the first two were a fluke, and nope. It keeps saying there is an issue with getting setup. The other two flat out just wouldn't start, or they kept shutting off, and saying 'Boot', and a bunch of odd coding. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing from this company again. REALLY bad to have purchased three, and all three defective. Again, DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

This is a nice little computer, not much else to say. It doesn't take up too much space, it is pretty snappy. The only complaint is that upgrading CPUs isn't a possibility (or at least an easy thing to do). At first, I figured the I3 would be good enough, but after using it a bit I kind of wanted to upgrade to an I5/I7 since I know there are more advanced CPUs for the Nuc series. Was let down that i'd need an entirely new motherboard with built-in CPU to do so. But you live and you learn, its still a nice desktop PC
