I’ve been using the original wraps for years and finally decided to give these a try. They are perfect for savory wraps. I eat a lot of raw vegan food this is mainly when I’m using these wraps. I like to load them with veggies and avocado or some other yummy spread and then I roll them up and devour them! So good.
Love these! I wish would Nuco get over sticking them in the paleo niche, because these are for anyone. Maybe if they had more customers, they wouldn't be so expensive. We get the turmeric version. They have a nice, light coconut flavor that's fabulous for a wrap with something like grilled veggies, fire-roasted corn, rice, a bit of cumin and maybe some banana (or other fruit - I've tried a few) slices and some pistachios.I sometimes slip some other things in there, like orange powder and/or a little garlic aioli from Wildwood. My SO says he doesn't taste the coconut but does taste the turmeric, which goes well with his egg salad or tuna. This seller had the best price and the wraps weren't brittle when they arrived as some from another seller were. They last a long time and don't want to be refrigerated. The packages are thin - we just tuck them upright between cutting boards or cookbooks - we barely see them there and they stay nice and flat. And did I mention low-calorie? We'd eat them many days a week if they were less expensive.
Likes: Extra coconut nutrition. Mild coconut flavor, does not overrun flavors. WILL hold together for a roll up. (Just hold in hand almost folded in half, and tuck your items, proteins, veggies, condiments, etc... and tuck the slightly shorter side over items. Then finish rolling. It will not be a "wrap" as such, but it works.) I like them, but, for some people... Dislikes: tough, chewy, leathery. ( Sort of like fruit leather but not sticky and sweet.) Coconut flavor may be off putting to some. Square shapes, not round. Once again, I appreciate the differences. I was just trying to be objective.
The sheets of this are as thin as printer paper and taste like coconut flavored printer paper. Horrible. Tried eating part of a sheet and had to spit it out and just threw what I had ordered away in the garbage. I was so hopeful that this would be an alternative to the almond flour tortillas and cassava flour tortillas I like and get from Whole Foods.
Texture is a deal breaker when I took the wrap out of the paper it was like peeling a fruit roll up. I threw the one out that I made my wrap on, but I will try steaming the next one. They are not what my imagination dreamt up . The product arrived in perfect condition and fresh. I just wanted some thing a little more flexible and the flavor wasn’t bad. I will have to get creative with these. I love the whole concept. I’m just gonna have to try steaming them. I’ll figure something out. Good luck if anyone has any success creating something delicious please post your process in your review so the rest of us can figure it out. The product arrived as described, so I’m not knocking stars off for that. It was just texture for me.
I like these ok. I like tortilla wraps MORE lol (duh), but these are ok if you're really wanting a wrap but don't want to use a tortilla for any number of reasons. I don't move using tortillas, so I probably won't get these again. The texture is soft enough to roll it, but I wouldn't try folding the bottom in. I just roll it like I would sushi, leaving both sides open and use the paper that they use in the packaging to separate each wrap to enclose the bottom of the wrap. Everything I put in stays in pretty well, though. I have only used to make turkey wraps and the like. I haven't used to make burritos. They have an almost crunchy texture when you bite into it, so if you have an extreme aversion to different textures then this is not for you as the texture is much different than that of a flour tortilla. These are very thin, but I have not had any problem with them tearing (I have only used 2 so far).
I don't really taste these when I eat my wrap, so the us no issue of coconut flavor for me. Definitely didn't taste sweet or anything. I got the turmeric flavor specifically to try to avoid any sweetness. Anyway, I hope that helps!
Updated review: So I've been ordering these for ages now and I've always been really happy with them before but this last pack was a disaster. They are all broken and cracked and completely unusable as wraps. I just opened them today, and the expiration date is plenty far away, so there's really no reason for these to be so bad. I'm super disappointed as they are not cheap. :(
These are wonderful! I'm on Keto and these are a great wrap/bread replacement. They hold up better than I expected and can be rolled or folded without breaking. I pile goodies inside and then melt them in the micro for a few seconds. Yummy goodness. Just wish they were less expensive.

These are enjoyable to me, about 6 carbs per wrap. They are very thin, and your mileage may vary on if your wrap falls apart. I've tried a few different ingredients and haven't had too much of an issue. They might break apart a little but not always. Sometimes I order a cheeseburger wrap and put the ingredients in two of these coconut wraps, might be a bit of a pain to do that, but as long as one sticks to the keto diet, it's a great solution for me. Note that in some batches, the wrap may stick to the paper. My last one that I used didn't have that problem. Also they are a bit pricey, but I still felt 5 stars is warranted - there's the plain coconut ones in a two pack that is about the same price as one of these, as an option.
Dry and crumbled. Thought there were 5 packages not just 5 small wraps! Not a great taste but doable for the good ingredients. Not worth it and not returnable. I should have know better.
Being a long term paleo eater I was excited to try these but unfortunately they're not very nice. A very odd flavour, no need for the turmeric as it provides absolutely no benefit, would rather a plain variety and one that has a slight coconut flavour if possible. They're so paper thin that they must be used right before consuming. I made chicken avocado wraps late morning for a 3.30pm picnic and they were mushy and broken by that time. They need to be double the thickness for sure.
These wraps actually wrap and don't fall apart (although I wouldn't try to wrap top tightly, just in case). They definitely taste like coconut so keep that in mind, but if you're a fan of that flavour, these are the wraps for you!
Taste wise these are very good. They do taste like coconut! But they are super fragile and arrived in pieces so I couldn’t use them for making wraps. I ate them like chips instead. I don’t know if usually they’re like that and usable for wraps but that’s my experience.
