This is a book all medical doctor and medical student should read. It opens the perspectives, presents a different way to look (and practice, if you are a specialist) the gynecology and obstetrics.
Although the author is Catholic, he presents arguments in this book that are valid for everyone. All it needs is an open mind to consider a totaly different way to consider women's health.
My research on NaPro was somewhat limited by the lack of information available online, but it seems to be a Catholic-based doctor group that helps with infertility, but only in ways that they feel don't interfere with God's plan. That definition is vague, I presume intentionally, but it does seem probable that if you're limited in what options you can provide people, you're more motivated to "prove" that what you can do makes a difference.
There may very well be something to progesterone supplementation in the 2nd and/or 3rd trimester, but this book certainly doesn't provide the research to prove it. Hopefully more research is done, that can be assessed and analyzed by unaffiliated parties, to shed more light on the topic. Until then, I'd treat this book like you would most info on the internet.
