Quick tip: I keep my hair dryer out when I am waxing, and use that to heat up the strips, rather than rubbing them between my hands forever. Also, on the second or third time that I use a strip, I use the blowdryer to warm it up and melt the wax onto the hairs to get a little more use out of the strip.
First off, I am no stranger to waxing. My sister is a professional beautician and she waxes my back for me (embarrassing, I know). One time she used these because it was all that was left (the professional wax was gone), and I wanted to go to the beach. It removed the hair from my back fairly well. The one con is that it took more than one time over the same area to remove the hair, which is expected from something not professional (and not boiling hot!)
Just yesterday I did some grooming by myself (on my upper arms), and hated them at first, until I figured out that you rip the strips off against the growth. Now, I really feel they were a good investment because they did a great job at a reasonable price. If these can work on coarser male hair, they surely can work for a woman who wants to be well groomed.
-Easy enough for an amateur
-Inexpensive alternative to a salon
-Not as good as professional
*Pick up a box. If you hate it I am sure the company will refund your money if you send the UPC and copy of the receipt.
I have used Nad's for 3 years now, and the last two times I have ordered I have noticed the wax isn't that great.
I will give Nad's one more chance before I switch to a different brand, because the brand worked well before. Just for those who are purchasing, I would just buy one box to try it out. It may just be user error on my part.
TMI - I have fairly light hair (aka not thick or course) so I am more prone to having it break off rather than be fully extracted via wax. If you have thicker or courser hair these may still be fine to use.
* Just as good as professional waxing
* Works for thick/course or thin/fine hair
* Surprisingly painless
* Surprisingly mess-less
* Pleasant, mild scent
* No rash
* VERY easy to use

It doesn't get every single hair out, but it's fast, easy, and mess free. It's great when I need a quick fix and don't have the time or money to get professionally waxed. Read morePublished 3 days ago by Monica
Great for underarms and easy to use. I have done both method of warming with simply rubbing hands together and by using a blow dryer and either work finePublished 14 days ago by Doc Griego
These are not the same as when they first came out, 15-20 years ago. Hard to heat and even harder to peel. Unless they are completely warm, they won't pull any hair off.Published 22 days ago by CMT926
