Sunday school presentations -- low-room noise

It's cheap. It reduces room noise. The audio quality is good. It works fine for my purpose: recording Sunday school presentations. I use it with a low-cost Sony pocket recorder. I used to do interviews for a living: 1980-2000. I used a Sony Walkman Professional and two $50 Sony microphones. I used a Radio Shack Y-splitter for the two mics. In today's money, the set-up cost at least $700. Today, it would cost $100 to get the same quality. Hooray for Moore's law!

This microphone is an upgrade from the ones shipped with Nady body packs. Yes it is a little bigger than the mics that comes in Nady products. That being said, this is an entry level product at a value price, meant to be used with cheap Nady wireless systems. In that context, it is a good mic for a great price. If you're looking to use this mic for other purposes I would encourage you to look other places and spend more $ for a better quality, better sounding mic.

This microphone replaces the original one that broke (wire broke near the mic). The wire is a thicker gauge and the microphone, wind shield and clip are larger than the one it replaces. The sound is excellent, and I hope it lasts longer than the original. The larger size is the only drawback.
