Editorial Reviews

''Carmen Parets Luque created a fable with Naia the Witch in that it teaches children a lesson. If they are not nice to others, then they will not have any friends. The pictures were good and I think children would enjoy looking at them. The story is simple for them to understand and the colourful pictures are attractive and enable young readers to get an idea of what Naia and the other witches look like.'' - Reviewed by Samantha Gregory for Readers' Favorite.

From the Author

"Do I have to go toschool?"
There aren't few who have ever heard thisquestion because for many parents and teachers the first days of school arevery difficult to endure. Everything new causes us insecurity and the kids feelthe same. Nerves, fears and emotions are mixed about the unknown and we cannotice they are more nervous.
A good tool to work this situation with thekids are the stories. Thus was born "NaiaThe Witch". Through Naia, a character a little naughty, but with a goodheart, children live the experience of going to school the first time andidentify themselves with the feelings that Naia has. They see the positive andfun things that will be lost if they do not go to school and they also learn agreat lesson through her history.
Both the colorful, simple and sweets images ofthis story and the text beautifully express the doubt and the consequences ofNaia's negative of going to school.
