I wish to thank Ms. Devereux for providing a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, now unto the review. Cole works at VIP, and he is set up with his new client. Low and behold it's his love that broke up with him years ago.
I really liked part one. Renee and Cole were entertaining. You could tell that they did have a past and they both wanted back. Even though Renee was hesitant, Cole seems determined.
I had one problem, or maybe not problem, a little hiccup when reading that I found odd. In the beginning we meet Cole and he talks about never settling down and that 'love' isn't for him, then BAM, Renee and he's all lovey dovey and sweet. I know nothing major. I guess I was expecting him to be a little more hardcore and not melt like pudding when Renee came into the picture, lol.
Nevertheless, can you say cliffhanger...now unto part two.
Ahhh! What a plot twist! I really was not expecting that. I became completely involved in the characters and then wham plot twist and abrupt ending. I should have expected something like that, I mean it is a short story, but wow! I would definitely recommend this book to those who like romance novels. Be warned though this is a very short introductory novel, but well worth the read.
