The valve is difficult to drink through for even our oldest children; we tried piercing the hole to enlarge it, but this didn't help much. We eventually just took the valves out (thinking we could keep up with them if we ever decided to use them again-- ha! Nope.) and use them without. When the bottles fall over, of course they leak from the spout, but we knew they would, considering we had taken out the valves. No complaints here.
The bottles are essentially indestructible. We LOVE that feature. They clean up easily, are easy for a child to carry along, and contain no hidden parts to grow mold.
-Easy to clean
-Work great & don't spill!! Leaking is the 1st thing to happen
-Only 3 piece system
-Made of very hard plastic. Been dropped hundreds of times pretty much everywhere
-Affordable
-Nice colors
My wife and I have over 4 other brands that we tried prior to buying these. They all leaked after a month or so due to wear and tear. We also had one brand crack when dropped. Very smart buy. Love them.
