Great for our children. We have four different colors, one for each child. Our oldest, 8y, loves it, as does our 2y child. We most recently purchased the fourth for our 10mo, who can use this, though not as expertly as the older ones.
The valve is difficult to drink through for even our oldest children; we tried piercing the hole to enlarge it, but this didn't help much. We eventually just took the valves out (thinking we could keep up with them if we ever decided to use them again-- ha! Nope.) and use them without. When the bottles fall over, of course they leak from the spout, but we knew they would, considering we had taken out the valves. No complaints here.
The bottles are essentially indestructible. We LOVE that feature. They clean up easily, are easy for a child to carry along, and contain no hidden parts to grow mold.
