REVIEW:
Cassaundra Morris is a professional events planner who is struggling to start over after her ugly divorce that made front page news. Adam Simmons is a handsome, up and coming politician vying for the governor's office, but his reputation as a ladies man has him slipping in the poll, thanks to character-assassination stories written by a spurned reporter.
Adam’s best friend and campaign manager states that “You Need A Wife”.
Event planner Cassaundra Moore has starting to get her life back on track after her criminal attorney ex-husband, Marcus had been involved in illegal activities. Cassaundra cousin has come up with a plan that will help both his best friend and cousin. While working an event for her client Cassaundra runs into the Senator/Gubernatorial candidate Adam Simmons.
Little did Adam & Cassaundra know that they would see each other again until Derrick presented them with his plan for them to get marriage. This will give Adam a chance of winning the election and it will help Cassaundra get her business back up and running. As with any relationship they had their share of ups and down they work through them. Cassaundra had to learn to trust and Adam had to learn to open his heart up again. Although this was a quick marriage, they both didn’t expect the feeling they had for each other and realize that through this marriage they had fallen in love with each other and there was nothing they wouldn’t do.
I love the secondary characters, Adam sister and brother, Cassaundra cousins Derrick and his sister. I tell that Derrick is nothing to play with and I can’t wait for his story………….Yes, we are introduced to Adam parents, they are something else.
In Name Only is the first installment and you will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed this story. The narrator did a good job. The story was a quick read and it was cute. I love how they got together and the way it worked out. I'm looking forward to learning more about Spyder. He seems pretty interesting.
I enjoyed this story. The flow of the story kept me wanting more. And the passion was just right. Just enough, but not over kill in my opinion. I do have an issue with Alex, Adam's brother, but I saw something that leads me to believe that he may get a story as well. I enjoyed the story and I can't wait for the next books in the series.
Not only is this an appealing love story, but it also becomes a page-turner when we learn that someone is trying to destroy Cassaundra financially. The story flows well as it highlights both relationship and character development.
Let me just say that the “showdown at the coffee shop” is a real eye opener. Great scene! The HEA is the stuff great romance stories are made of.
I enjoyed IN NAME ONLY, and I highly recommend it for your reading pleasure. I look forward to reading Book 2 of the Love Connection Series.
Sean Young's character and story descriptions are vivid and stirring. I empathized with Cassaundra devastating divorce and business issues but cheered for her return to success as an entrepreneur. Adam as a young gubernatorial
candidate was outstanding. The initial meeting of the couple was different and the fact that both needed the other for professional reasons was intriguing. I loved them as acquaintances, friends and finally lovers. If you love a cozy, sensual and lovable couple this book is for you. 5 stars for me
