As the story opens, Nancy is dangling precariously from a cliff, high above a gorge in a nature preserve. The story goes backward to describe how she got there, and then forward to show how Nancy tries to work herself out of a dangerous jam. All the while, Nancy's amazing brain is trying to solve the mystery of who pushed her over the cliff, and why. If and when a potential rescuer finally shows up, could it be the killer and can Nancy talk them into a rescue?
"Cliffhanger" is an exciting story with plenty of suspense, and some surprising humor. It is highly recommended to fans of the new Nancy Drew graphic novels.
