- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020This book proves it. Finding out what makes living history is interesting and enjoyable. Now I feel like I know the woman behind the power and why she got to where she is. A life of selflessness, concern for others, action, faith and an overwhelming patriotic belief in the American Dream. History has called her and she has spectacularly answered that call with strength, wisdom, and a sense of what is right and decent. Really love this book.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2024If you have access to anyone in congress this is a great book to learn how to make money through the art of insider trading. Pelosi has perfected these methods through her overly long time in power. I highly recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2020We can all use a lesson from Madam Speaker and this book gives you an insider look. Really enjoyed the quick read. I found it inspirational, thoughtful, and a reminder just how long a road it has been for women in politics.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020No wonder she’s the Speaker of the House.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2020I like Nancy Pelosi. I guess I'm a fan. I have heard Christine Pelosi talk about her mom, and been fairly impressed. However, this book is written so poorly that the mediocre language and presentation strip away any power and import that the story and lessons could have.

BarbaraReviewed in France on May 9, 20213.0 out of 5 stars Not much detail about how she does it
60% finished before I got to some of what I was looking for: how she does it, how she “whips” members of Congress to vote a certain way. But not much beyond generalities about how politics happens. Some good advice, soundbite slogans, the story of an amazing woman and all of it positive. Glad I read it but I didn’t get the nitty-gritty I was looking for.
