Blog postThere are several books “out there” about training ice breakers, but I did not like the suggestions I found. Most were too corny, too crass, or would use more time than I want to spend when my objective is to conduct substantive classes.
When Is It Important to Use an Ice Breaker? For the answer to that, I read some content from The Balance Careers. Here are some suggestions based on their findings. They go into much more detail than I can here, so I suggest you go to that link when yYesterday Read more -

Blog postI Use a Healy for Arthritis Pain Arthritis can affect any joint in the body and can become increasingly painful as we age. Most notably, we feel it in knees, hips, and hands, if we acquire osteoarthritis. I am delighted – thrilled, actually – to have found a hugely effective, FDA-cleared*, Class II Medical Device for pain relief. It works with your smartphone. It is totally portable, and you can clip it onto your clothes to be hands-free. (It’s about the size of a white cracker).

Blog postOh, Honey, Look What I Found! It all began when I was researching “honey” (like bees make) as a prescription for what ails us. That led me to Nathaniel Altman, author of Eating for Life: A Book about Vegetarianism. His publisher is Simon and Schuster. He is the author or co-author of over twenty other books on holistic health, diet, nature, palmistry, and other metaphysical subjects.
One of those books is The Honey Prescription. Here is an excerpt.

Three Hots and a Cot: Stories of Courage from People Struggling with Homelessness, Addiction, and AIDS
Feb 5, 2019
by
Nancy Wyatt
$4.76
These are stories of courage, faith, and growth as American citizens overcome extreme hardship from Homelessness, Addiction, and AIDS. The scripts were compiled for the performing arts as Three Hots and a Cot, which refers to being able to get three hot meals a day and a “bed” on which to sleep.
Nancy Wyatt authored the biographies of residents in the largest shelter in the United States. Together, they performed the scripts as monologues for educational, religious, civic, business, federal, and state governmental organizations. This helped raise awareness and funds for organizations serving homeless people and addicts.
