$300/year subscription for a $400 camera. Without the subscription, you're just paying for an overpriced camera. If it was included, that would be fine, but there is absolutely no way I can justify they much for a camera. Return already started. Bought ¼ of the way through my wife's pregnancy because I wanted to get test everything a get it all going, but you can't even register the camera with your account unless you start your basic trial subscription which only includes 2 day history. 0/10 experience, would not recommend unless you feel like spending $1000 on your camera after a couple years.

This is an overpriced camera for what you get. They get the one star for the packaging that eventually ends up in the trash and the wall mount. Everything else does not worth it.

I paid $300 for a camera that keeps disconnecting in both 5G and 2.4G network. This is the only device in my whole house that has issues with disconnections and freezing. I have devices further than this so the network is not the problem, and the same for my internet speed. I have 1GB of download speeds and 100MB upload at all times.

The device is updated to the latest firmware and I have reset it a million times.

Save yourself the money, time and frustration and look elsewhere.

Do not trust the safety of my child to this garbage.

Everything was perfect…until we got false red alerts every time we monitored breathing

My child is now 2 weeks old and we were VERY excited about this baby monitor. All of the features are stellar and we purchased breathing wear in every size. BUT we get the (terrifyingly false) red alerts every time we try to monitor breathing. The point of this monitor was to alleviate concerns about SIDS and it has been an utter nightmare. We followed all of the tips and even purchased new bed sheets. Then we replaced the camera altogether and still the same issue. For the price, this is just unacceptable

After extensive research I decided to purchase the Nanit Pro for my brother and sister-in-law as a Baby Shower gift and could not be more thrilled. They were considering a few different ones, but in the end, we were super impressed with how much this monitor could do - this is not just a baby monitor! Since they're first-time parents, the technology will definitely help them feel better at night, and as a first-time Auntie Mel, I can't wait to see them on my own phone.

Being that the monitor is solely a camera and does not come with a separate screen may not be ideal for some parents, but in today’s culture everything is on your phone, so it makes sense. The live feed projects directly onto their phone so they can see, and speak to the baby any time, and so can I. I really love that this kit came with the travel stand - so they can travel with the baby.

A major reason why I've bought baby monitors as a gift for my new parent friends is because of the longevity. A monitor is not something that is quickly grown out of or easily broken like clothing or a toy, so there's some small part of me helping them for even 4-6years perhaps. But what I like about the Nanit Pro vs others is the new features and updates that they roll out all the time - always trying to make the product better. They are clearly always trying to help new parents learn more about a baby's development which shows me that they are invested into being the best and safest product for a parent to use without hesitation.

Easy to set up and exactly what I wanted. I love that I can add viewers and restrictions for what they can hear or functions they can use. It makes being 2k miles away from family easier because they feel like they are still part of everything.

There are a lot of complaints about the quality but it’s really going to come down your internet. If you have great download speed but your upload speed is crappy you’re going to see it in the video quality. It’s not really a Nanit issue if the internet you have isn’t great. Overall incredibly happy with my purchase.
