So far, I'm really enjoying this little espresso maker. It's reasonably easy to use and produces a tasty shot. It's portable (as it's small, but maybe a little heavy if you're backpacking). Cleanup is easy, though potentially a little messy (not bad considering you're emptying coffee grounds...). Just be sure you don't overfill the coffee basket.
Also, the videos Wacaco and product users have made are helpful in learning how to get started, how to clean, and how to potentially modify the unit to get the exact espresso shot you want.

This thing was awesome. I used for a 2500mile motorcycle adventure trip and it was nice to have. It’s pretty simple to function and I didn’t think it was too difficult to make consistently tasting cups. However I do want to upgrade to the barrista expansion as I always find myself making two shots.

We are very impressed by this portable espresso maker: compact, light weight, and easy to clean (all the parts are detachable for easy cleaning). Just add coffee to one end and hot water to the other, flip, pump and voila. It even comes with a cup, a coffee scoop and a cleaning brush. All are well packed in a sleek hard case.
