3.0 out of 5 starsIn those days there were so many factions fighting for control - that the water is terribly muddy. There are no clear white hats

The book makes some interesting points and details many lesser known facts. As for the conspiracies - it is difficult to determine - who is conspiring with whom and against whom. In those days there were so many factions fighting for control - that the water is terribly muddy. There are no clear white hats and black hats, no certain blood trail to follow. It appeared to me that the different factions might have even exchanged dance partners a time or two. One thing which Napoleon got dead right. " History is written by the winners."
