OK so I am trying to be as bias as possible. I am a straight up Nappy Roots fan since they started out at WKU! This album right here with Organized Noize producing has got to be some of their best work. A more mature album than the past. Very refined and clean MUSIC. I emphasis music because they made good music on this album. Favorite tracks on the album, by far Pete Rose! GOES STRAIGHT OFF!! Second has to be Karma. Then you have Good & Evil that takes you on an Andre 3000 groove. Then I will wrap it up with Give Me a Sign and Congratulations. Serious tracks with helleva production. On the real these my boys and on previous albums there have been a track here and a track there that I would skip. This album here, I skips no tracks. Just let it ride. Definatly the repeat tracks are PETE ROSE AND KARMA!!!

Nappy Roots had a sound that immediately caught my interest with their debut album/CD. But later offerings they have seemed to struggle with the "word" content. The music still seems to hold, the voices still unique. The verbal content, not so much.

I purchased this album 1 year ago when it was released. I completely forgot to review the album at the time, so I figured I would throw my 2 cents out on the web. I'll keep this short - everything that Nappy Roots puts out is creative and overly excellent feel good music. They have gone through some changes which is why they keep getting better and better! "Nappy Dot Org" is an excellent follow up to "The Pursuit of Nappyness." If you're a Nappy fan or just love raw hip-hop you'll love this album!

Real Recognize Real,

DZA tha Dangerous!

This is a short and enjoyable album, straying away from their original country sound. The deviation in style does not bother me all that much since country rap is not my main interest. The production is mainly handled by Organized Noise, delivering a modern sound with a light mainstream appeal. The beats are solid but none are particular strong. Nappy Roots perform solidly, with their Southern accents and calm flow. Some members perform better than others but all of them are fairly enjoyable and complement each other well. The album has positive and light feeling, delivering positive messages, touching on society and lighthearted partying. A nice and light listen, thumbs up.

I HAVE ALL OF THE NAPPY ROOTS' ALBUMS, THIS ALBUM IS HONESTLY BETTER THAN I EXCPECTED.
BEAT & LYRICS ARE DEFINITLY BANGIN & WHAT YOU EXPECT AND MORE FROM THESE BACKWOODS COUNTRY FOLK.
STAND OUT TRACKS TO ME ARE:
2. COUNRTY BOY RETURN
5. PETE ROSE (FT. KHUJO GOODIE of The Goodie Mob)
8. Y'All Party
THAT'S NOT TAKING AWAY FROM ANY OF THE OTHER TRACKS THESE ARE JUST MY FAVS.
