Product Description
Product Description
It's smart, It's Swedish, It's maybe a little strange. It's the doctor-invented nasal aspirator what actually works! To Use: Place large tube against child's nostril (not inside), creating a seal. Use red mouthpiece to snuck out snot. Tips: (1) Spraying saline solution in each nostril will help loosen thick mucus before using NoseFrida. (2) Move tube in a circular motion against nostril. You will hear and see mucus coming out of nose. (3) Change filter after each use to maintain suction.
Brand Story
FROM DELIVERY TO BOOGERS, BUTTS AND BEYOND! Frida is the brand that gets parents. That means you. We are not a lifestyle. Far from it. We are a solution-based brand. The 411 of parenting. The who-do-I-call-in-the-middle-of-the-night-cause-my-baby-won't-stop-screaming brand.
From the Manufacturer
Nosefrida The Snotsucker, the doctor-developed and doctor-recommended nasal aspirator is the new standard in keeping babies naturally snot free. Ingeniously simple Swedish design features a tube that is placed against the nostril (not inside). Parents use their own suction to draw mucus out of their child's nose. Disposable filters prevent any bacterial transfer. Nosefrida is easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and BPA and Phthalate free. It is superior to the bulb aspirator, presents no risk or harm to internal nasal structures and is dramatically more efficacious.

Nose Frida user for my other two kids. I ordered a new Nose Frida for my newborn on Amazon but was disappointed to find that it does not look or perform like my previous ones. I took into consideration that the product may have changed over time so I went to Walgreens today and purchased another Nose Frida off of the shelf. My suspicion was confirmed. The Walgreens Nose Frida looks just like my prior Nose Frida and nothing like the one that I received from Amazon. The one from Amazon is flimsy, the tubing kinks easily, the mouth piece won’t stay on and the filter is different. The font in which the brand-name is written is also different. I would save your money and just go ahead and buy this at your local drugstore to avoid the frustration that I am dealing with.

My lil’ guy’s first cold was handled much better once we got this. Baby boy hates getting his nose sucked, he fights it every time, but he was showing better attitude and breathing easier after we used it on him. Also use some baby safe saline solution before nose sucking your baby for extra gross double snot removeage.
Heads up, if your baby is sick while you use this, you will get sick as you are breathing in the air and bacteria from inside him. As long as you don’t mind It’s a great nose sucker to use. Plus if breast feeding, once mom gets sick, baby will start getting better because you start producing immunities that go right to baby’s food supply. My son got better before I did once he got me sick.
Also it’s possible to use on yourself, and is a very odd sensation.
Yeah, yeah it's gross ducking your kids snot but you know what's worse? A sick, miserable baby.
Our pediatrician even recommended the frieda over those little blue bulbs.
I can duck more junk out and it's so much easier to clean and sanitize.
There is NO WAY any boogies can get back into your mouth when you use this product. The gross factor Iis just all in your head.
If you have a kid - order this! If you know someone with a kid - order this!

It just rests at the entrance of the nostril. It actually works because you control the amount of vacuum pressure. Every baby needs to breathe through his/her nose to feed without difficulty and this definitely helps. It is super easy to clean and comes with disposable filters (probably any brand's replacement filter would work).
[...]
It's really not that bad though! The snot gets no where near your mouth at all. It doesn't even get into the tube and stays in the containment area.
We used this on my 3 week old who got a cold from her big brother. At first it was hard to get anything out. The baby has to be very still to get the suction right. I would imagine it would be difficult to use this with just one person. Once you get the suction correct, it's rather surprising how well this works!
I tried to use this on my sick 3 year old as well but he was too strong to get the right suction. A bulb is easier for him because even if he moves around the bulb can be held tight. Since this just sits at the base of the nose, if there is too much movement it won't work. I'm not going to deduct any stars because it didn't work on my son. I can't take his temperature either and the safety factor of this would be compromised if the design was changed. Just know if you have bigger, strong children, this may not work that well.
Also, do not block the child's other nostril when using this. It would make their ears pop, which is uncomfortable even for adults.
Overall, great product. I am very happy I found something to use that I don't need to worry about molding over like the bulbs. If you were hesitant to purchase this due to the gross factor, don't! It's great and works amazingly. My sick 3 week old slept 6 hours straight after using it.
My kids hate when I use it but their sinus clear out immediately and they’re able to sleep through the night.

What I like about it:
- You don’t have to insert it far into the nostril, just at the edge
- It has a filter to prevent bacteria travelling from your mouth. There are 3 extra filters in the package
- You can rinse it easily after use (which you should)
What I don't like about it:
- No baby would like you suctioning their nose, so they will cry!
Should you buy it?
- YES, definitely
Tips:
- To make mucus softer, you can use Saline nasal drops before using the aspirator

EXCUSE ME?!!
“Why was this the first time I’ve heard of this?... What, Babies don’t blow their nose? Is it too late to change my mind?”
All things I thought as I gagged and looked at my friend in disbelief. “There is no way that my mouth will be doing that. Ever.”
Fast forward to baby being 5 months old and experiencing her first cold. I’ve been holding onto this little treasure since she was a month old, waiting (and dreading), it’s first use. She’s miserable. She’s grunting and while the snot bubble expanding and retracting with each breath is adorable, it’s time...
Tentatively husband held her down and I went in for the attack with saline and the snot sucker. A few seconds later (and saline everywhere but in her nose), I was sucking like I was trying to down the last few drops of a McDonalds shake...SUCCESS! A tube filled with snot and (mercifully), none near my mouth.
Buy this! You will need it. When your baby is struggling to breathe, you will be thankful for the comfort you can provide.
Keep in mind, all of the videos show this being used on a baby who has clearly been tranquilized and is peaceful and zen. The true experience is much more likened to wrestling a velociraptor covered in baby oil. Remember that when your partner asks you why you sprayed saline in babies face, rather than their nose...

We use the nose drops before, which definitely help loosen up everything. 2 drops, wait a few minutes and then see what comes out.
Anyone grossed out by the thought of sucking up a mouth full of it, don’t be. There is no chance you can get any of the in your mouth. Not possible.
I brought the spare filters but I doubt i’ll ever use them. I just wash out the plastic bit after each use.

The photo clearly shows that the blue nozil that inserts into the baby’s nose is uneven with sharp edges that could potentially damage a baby’s/child’s nasal lining.
Also, this product was packaged in a small cardboard box only, we have previously bought this product a clear plastic case was also supplied to store the aspirator.
I would not recommend this product as I do not believe it is a genuine product. Unable to select zero stars!
I returned this product to amazon and was refunded without issue.
