I have anticipated the release of Part Three in the series for ages it seems. Boy, did What We Feel not disappoint yet it left me yearning for more of CeCe, Holden, and Thomas! Part Three picks up 19 months after Holden moves back to Atlanta to be with Sarah whereas CeCe and Thomas have had to move forward in their music careers by performing as a duo. With their collaboration, CeCe and Thomas are offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to open up for a tour. With that being said, I won't add any other plot details, but as always, Inglath Cooper creates another strong character development and storyline in this cast of special friends. I truly feel like I actually know them, and I look forward to seeing what happens next in Part Four. I desperately need it ASAP, because the cliffhanger at the end made my jaw drop!
P.S. I absolutely love that Thomas! He just knows how to make people laugh. I hope he gets someone special, too :).
I did what I swore I wouldn't and bought part 3 (this book) of an instalment book, despite the way I despise this modern trend. Part 1 was good and got me interested in the book (it was the bonus addition to another book I read by the author). Part 2 was terrible since it was the middle of the story with no beginning and a sort of an ending, but the H goes off with his girlfriend and that's how it ends. This was better in that the story developed but it starts with the fact that the H and h have been separated for 1 1/2 years while he's been back with his girlfriend. He only leaves her once she breaks things off with him. That's not how a love story is supposed to work. The best part for me was that the h doesn't wait for him and begins dating someone else (sorry I'm not fond of the pining h as a theme) and continues to date him even when the H rejoins the group.
So I've now been the sap that's bought up to part 4, with the hopes of getting some closure on this story. Part 3 is better because now the main characters are actually getting somewhere together. It ends on a major cliffie. So on to part 4
Things have changed when Holden returns though, he’s now the one that’s single and CeCe is the one in a relationship. Can they be around each other every day and pretend that they don’t have feelings for each other? Just when everything seems to be going in the right direction, the bottom drops out and then…Part 3 ends with the mother of all cliffhangers but thankfully Part 4 is already out so you don’t have to wait to find out how it pans out.
DON'T BUY 3 TILL 4 IS AVAILABLE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE LEFT HANGING OFF A CLIFF BY YOUR FINGER NAILS!!!
I absolutely loved this book, just as I have the other two books in the series. It is written so well, that as a reader, you can actually feel what Holden and Cece are going through as they try to find their way back together. I also love how Cece and Thomas have become such good friends. They really had to lean on each other after Holden left.
This book held my attention from the first page right until the very end. I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for book four!!
