However, I really, really, really wish "One size fits all" products would at least list the dimensions of the item. As I said, I'm walking/running for weight loss, so I hope this will fit more comfortably in time. Currently, I have to wear it very high on my chest in order to fasten it and it isn't as if that is super-comfortable. It also looks fantastically stupid, so I wear it under my clothes -- also not too comfy. I'm not blaming the company for my size, by any means, but if I could have found a measurement for the belt in the item description, I could have made a more informed purchase.
As it was, I just sort of had to cross my fingers and hope.
The top of the bag has a small zipper which seems to be well made. The bottom part of the bag has an area that flattens out as the bag expands. So even for a small bag, if you wanted to put other things in there with more bulk it should work pretty well.
FYI, the droid x is 5inches long, 2.5 inches wide, and about a half inch thick at the thickest part. I think it would be safe to say 5 inches is about the longest thing you can fit in there comfortably unless it is less wide as the bag is oval shaped.
I bought this to wear under my scrubs to keep my driver's license, credit card, cash, and a small snack (Chewy bar, for example), so as not to sacrifice precious coat-pocket space for items I don't access as often. So far, it's been wonderful! There's also an added perk - if worn at the same hip level as scrub pants, you can use the elastic band/strap of this "runners pack" as a more secure/stable anchor for your beeper, stethoscope, etc.
The iPod is bulky and heavy and not great for working out with at all. And I don't want to get another iPod just so I can use to work out with. It may make sense for people to buy different sized iPods for different needs but to me I can't help but think I have this so why not just use it. Also I'm a poor college student so yeah. So for the 5 years that I've had my iPod i've tucked it in my pocket or held it by hand while I worked out. When it's in my pocket it's so heavy that my shorts keep going down on one side. It's like working out with a guy that keeps trying to pull one side of your shorts down.
Say hello to my savior. The almighty Nathan Shadow Runners pak. Boom. I've been looking for something that doesn't bounce too much when I run or isn't too bulky like my dad's fanny pack. This one fits my bulky iPod and doesn't bounce when I run. It's small enough to be underneath my shirt and not show at all. Now my ipod is on my back and doesn't get in the way of my work outs. Great buy and good quality too. I highly recommend.
