I tried the coconut and vanilla deodorant and after one hour this is what happened to my shirt, a horrible brown stain and not only that my armpits are brown too!! this is the worst product ever, never seen that a $12 deodorant do this to you. It has been 3 days and my armpits are still brown, I have been using almond oil to clean them but that dye is still coming out, do not waste your money, not only it doesn't work but it makes things worse!

Do NOT buy this, it’s FAKE! Not only does it not smell like the normal Native Coconut & Vanilla, but THE INGREDIENTS do not match true native. Also, it arrived without the protective cap AND the deodorant was all over the exterior of the bottle even though it was wrapped in plastic.

DO NOT BUY THIS IS A FAKE PRODUCT!!! The picture on the right is the fake, you can see how the barcode is in the wrong place. This product is a terrible knock off, rather than printed on the tube the labels are stickers. The deodorant itself is also sparkly, miscounted, and smells wrong. STAY AWAY!

WARNING!!! The product I received is 100% a FAKE!!! I wish I could give this product a negative rating! The writing is not the same as a true Native deodorant (real has olive green writing, fake has neon green) & even the ingredients listed on the fake are different than on the real product! It is a good fake in that the front/back labels look almost identical to the real thing but this is FAKE!!! KNOCKOFF!!! When will Amazon fix this problem with knockoff products!!!

Honestly, I have mixed thoughts about this deodorant. I love the idea of natural deodorant but this one just didn’t work for me. It gave me (maybe burns) under my pits and I have absolutely no clue how to get rid of them. It started out as a rash but once the rash healed it looks like the pictures above. My armpits don’t hurt or itch they just look awful. I did order this product off of amazon, I’m not sure if that has any affect on it. I’m currently using Kopari natural deodorant and it’s truly amazing.

Let me start by saying that I sweat like an absolute BEAST. I literally sweat more than my boyfriend. Like, a LOT more. I’ve tried somewhere between 15-20 all natural deodorants since I switched from dangerous, chemical-laden antiperspirant/deodorants about 2 years ago. Trust me when I say that it’s been a very frustrating, very stinky transition. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Here’s a short list of what hasn’t worked well and why: Kiss My Face sport aerosol (smell is too strong and makes me gag, doesn’t last), Equate brand aluminum-free Rose (smells great, doesn’t last), Tom’s of Maine (smells good, doesn’t last), Lush’s T’eo combined with The Greench or Silky Sheets (loved it but it makes me itch/break out after shaving plus didn’t like having to use multiple products), some random charcoal one I found at TJ Maxx (smelled gross, didn’t last), regular men’s and women’s deodorants (no antiperspirant, all smelled good, none last), all-natural ones made by a local essential oil supplier, Lume (which I do like but causes me to itch/break out if I use it after shaving), and a host of other deodorants from various online and local retail establishments. I had basically given up and resigned myself to a life of chemicals or smelling terrible. Until I found Native. I’d heard of it, but assumed it was just lime all the others, which smell good at first but don’t last more than a few hours at best, or worse, are too much for my sensitive skin. I tried Native almost as a last resort, and I’m so, so, sooo happy that I did. I bought my first stick in March or April, and just ordered a new one the second week of June when the first one was getting low. So far, it smells fantastic (the coconut lavender is my fave out of the two I’ve tried so far), and, so far, I’ve only had to apply it once a day. I work in a fast-paced retail environment where it’s normal for me to be sweating for most of my 10-hour shifts, and my pits still smell mostly like deodorant at the end of the day. I will say, we are just now getting into the full swing of summer heat/humidity and it may require applying twice on super hot, sticky days. It doesn’t keep you particularly dry as it’s not an antiperspirant, but seems to keep me slightly dryer than the similar products I’ve tried. As far as I can tell, this is the ABSOLUTE BEST PRODUCT OUT THERE! I can’t recommend it highly enough, and while I can’t guarantee it will work for everyone, it is most definitely worth the $13 to try it out and see for yourself. Right now I’m a super happy girl about not having stanky pits after years of searching in vein for a product that delivers like Native does. I’ll be leaving this same review for the Coconut Lavender one!

I wish people understood that you go through a detox when you switch from regular deodorant to natural....it lasts 2 to 3 weeks.....you stink and some people even get a rash. With that said, I have tried several natural brands and this is by far the best, it smells good, it doesn't leave oil stains on my clothes, and it glides on with out feeling like its ripping my underarm skin. I love this stuff.

1 star purely for the complete rip off this product is - after doing a bit of research I found you can buy it direct from Native and if you spend over $30 (which at time of writing is about £21.60) you get free international delivery. Add the 20% VAT payable on import and you can STILL buy 3 of these individual deodarants for less than one on here. If you don't mind the fragrance, you can buy a box of 3 different frangrances for even cheaper. Instead of "Next Day" delivery it's usually between 7 - 10 days for these to wing their way across the Atlantic. Plan ever so slightly ahead and save yourself a fortune.

Re the product, my wife loves the Coconut and Vanilla scent but isn't a fan of the others. She's been using it for over a year and wouldn't go back to anything else.

*Update*
I’ve had an email from Native (in June 2021) saying they’re pausing delivery to the UK and EU countries temporarily:

“Starting this month we will no longer be shipping to the UK and countries in the EU. It’s certainly sad news for us to share, but rest assured we have a plan!

Our team is currently working to make some adjustments to our website, and we are reworking some of our internal processes to improve the delivery experience for customers in the EU & UK. Unfortunately, these changes can take some time to make and we have to pause shipping to these countries while we implement them.”

It goes onto say their products are available via Amazon, so we’re stuck with these horrendous prices for the time being!

I’ve seen so many adverts advertising this product and I thought I’d see what all the fuss was about. I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and didn’t want to write a review until I had used it more regularly. It’s a nice product, although when I received mine there were some marks on it and it didn’t look brand new. The coconut smell is ok, but can hardly smell it. I will say though, that it does last a while and does do the job. Expensive for such a small amount I will say. I’ll continue to use it and see how things go. Might purchase another in the future.

Wasn't 100% sold on the fragrance at first but it has grown on me. As a antiperspirant it does a fabulous job. I work I. A primary school and seem to be darting around, always on the go so I often feel self conscious then leaning across tables to help the kids, I've not had any cause for concern since using this and will be buying gain when it's used up.

Over the years I've tried all sorts of natural deodorants in an attempt to find one that works, smells nice and doesn't need to be reapplied every five minutes. There is no doubt that until now, the commercial ones that harm our bodies and contain aluminum have been best at stopping sweat and smell. But now we can have the best of both worlds because 'Native' smells amazing and can be applied in the morning and then forgotten about. It works, and it works well. I love it.
