Dr. Schmid explains the major differences in our common Western diet and a native diet, and how we can improve our nutrition. He details the value of many minerals, amino acids and enzymes, their sources and how they work in the body. He also devotes a chapter on diets for animals. Although written in the late 1980s, because of his gifted insights, it is a very current book informationally.
This is not a boring nutrition book. Beyond the valuable health and diet information found in its pages, you'll find the people fascinating and inspiring.
