I am, frankly, a little disappointed with my purchase. Rather than buy a cheap, well-padded case like I usually do, I decided when I bought my new MacBook Air that I would treat myself to a really nice case. I spent considerably more than I normally would, but I figured it would be nice for a premium case.
It is a nice looking case, overall. The fabric seems sturdy and looks good. The fit is just a teensy bit tight around the corners, and I'm not sure if the zippers will hold up but they are working fine at the moment. It is nicely padded, and while I haven't dropped it yet, seems like it would offer a good measure of protection.
However, the workmanship is subpar. There are puckers in the stitching all over the case, making it look quite cheap. If I had purchased a $10 case, I might not complain, but this is a name-brand, promoted by Apple case that cost $40, so I expect it to look like it. Honestly, the cheap cases I have purchased in the past are better stitched and appear of better quality. I would look elsewhere for a premium case.
Revision: This morning I found a package on my porch. It was a replacement to my original case! Other than this review, I have had no communication with Native Union and wasn't looking for anything, but they apparently read the review and replaced my original.
As to the quality of the replacement? It is beautiful! It is exactly what I hoped for the first time, with nice, even seams, nice, taut stitching. In short, it feels like the quality I originally paid for. I would not hesitate to purchase another case from them in the future, and I am excited that my MacBook Air will be traveling in style and looking like it from now on!

Size: 13"Color: IndigoVerified Purchase
Edited again: Seller has not responded to my last few requests for help after offering to remedy. I can only assume they have an auto-reply setup for any help inquiries. So, if you buy a Native Union product be prepared to have to FIX IT YOURSELF. In my case, I bought some zipper pulls here on Amazon for a few dollars. Not a huge expense but I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE TROUBLE TO FIX. Or to write this. Grr. Avoid. Just avoid.
Edited to add: without a zipper pull the snug fit makes opening and closing this a challenge. It's more like an expensive sleeve now.
The good: snug fit for the MBA. Color is nice (I got blue).
The bad: maybe more than a single stitch on the zipper pull. Price.
The terrible: No support from seller and no response to requests for help. Looks elsewhere.
After my first comment Seller offered to help me fix it so I could use the stupid zipper and so I could close the sleeve. That was over a week ago and have not heard and have no additional way to contact them. So, it looks like I am in the market for a new not-Native Union sleeve that actually has a functioning zipper.
