DO NOT BUY IT! It is garbage. Waist of money and you CANNOT RETURN IT. Pegs are made from cheap plastic. It does not hold the tune at all. I took it to the music store to fix they said it was not even worth the money. Crazy Cart (the seller) will not take this crap back. Amazon sent me a link how to tune a violin??? That is customer service. It is a joke. I will never buy anything from Crazy cart. Used to think that Amazon is the best. I do not feel the same way anymore. I would give it less stars if I could.

I received my cello yesterday. I tried to tune it and the A string broke I have an electric tunner, and I was able to get it to G, but then it snapped. The other strings tuned ok, but are not that great. I placed an order for new strings, I went with D'Addario Prelude Cello Strings. They are reasonably priced and I've used similar strings on my violins and Guitars.

I was able to play a little on the other strings. The sound from the Cello is fairly good even with the cheap strings. I'm new to cello, but I was able to play a few songs based on knowing the violin. I was even able to get some vibrato going. So, I am pleased with my purchase, and was not suprised about the strings.

I would recommend this cello to someone starting out on the cello.

Good deal for the price, only recommend to a beginner because it isn't really quality, I am enjoying mine but I got a new bow new strings and stuff and it works well. If you aren't willing to commit to a $1,000 instrument I'd recommend this.Get what you pay for

Terrific value and starter cello. Arrived on time and damage free. Upgraded it with P-pegs and better quality strings. Sounds nice.
