Purchase options and add-ons
From the retail supermarket outlets of huge, publicly traded corporations comes processed, manipulated, engineered "food products" produced by other wings of the same corporation. These artificial, toxic treats are then sold with the blessings of the Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration government organizations charged with safeguarding the public good laying the foundations for future disease and chronic ill-health for the consumer, and a guaranteed source of revenue for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Kevin reveals the shocking truth of how drugs which are being advertised directly to the consumer, pushing their use to an all-time high are actually the cause of illness and disease climbing to near epidemic levels.
And, though it sounds dire, Kevin offers a light in the darkness and directs the reader to scores and scores of alternative therapies, medical practices, philosophies and most importantly potential cures that help your body regain its natural state of health and vibrancy.
So follow Kevin on an amazing journey through the behind-the-scenes world of corporate sponsored "nutrition" and "health," and learn about "Natural Cures 'THEY' Don't Want You To Know About."

- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2005I agree the title is misleading. I would not have bought this book had not my 87 year old mother asked me to get it for her. I am so glad I did. I was expecting a book like many others I have read listing specific ailments followed by suggested therapies/supplements. If that is what you want, this is not the book for you. However, if you want a thorough treatment of why we are sick and what we can do about it, in my opinion, this is the most comprehensive, put it all together book I have ever read. Based on a lifetime of reading and observation, I believe there is more truth and eye-opening revelation here than in any other single book I've seen. Is his claim that he cannot give specific recommendations the truth or a scam? I don't know. I understand the complaints. In this particular case, I belief it is the truth and related to the author's past troubles. I also believe he is taking a great deal of heat in order deliver the type of information he offers in this book and I admire him for it. Either way, it does not diminish, in my opinion, the value and life changing potential of the advice he does offer. No, he does not offer specifics--he does provide an excellent guide from which you can research your own specifics if you object to paying more to get the results of his research. In summary; for me, this book tied a lot of loose ends of my own research and filled in the blanks. I highly recommend it.
P.S. I have been to quackwatch.com. How do we know who is really operating that site? Who do I trust more for advice on my health--an ex felon scam artist or the FDA? I'll take the scam artist every time.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2011FIRST YOU DO NOT NEED THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVE THE INTERNET.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK. Im in the medical field, have always been interested in helping the sick. I have always been into health, fitness and medical science and research. I started reading my step moms medical books in the fith grade. I feel alot of these bad reviews are for people who want the miracle pill cure. They don't read the book, they read what they want, and hear what they want. I didnt subscribe to the website the book is simple, has simple easy and factual ways to treat disease. Of course someone wants to say Kevin Trudeau is a criminal, but HERE IS A FACT, Look around you criminals everywhere, did you know Sears, INsurance companies, pharmacueical compaines all had to pay the government billions of dollars. Or how JOHNSON AND JOHNSON claimed that baby shampoo was "SAFE" when it contains cancer causing chemicals, and yes more than one. OH I forgot you dont know how to research for yourself so you wouldn't know how to type in to find out these things in the address bar of your search engine. What about the fact these shoe companies pay 6 cents for a pair of shoes and sell them to you for 100's of dollars. Oh but that is ok because your rich right? People please learn to look around you b4 your judge, do your own research, The interent is FREE with all the FREE REPORTS and INFORMATION YOUR LOOKING FOR. Me personally I love this book it touches on more than just about disease prevention, it is a little of everything all in one book and stimulates my curiosity even more on finding out what Im eating, drinking, swimming in and putting on my child. Watch Dr. Oz, search the internet for your particular problem. READ, READ, READ. Knowledge is power!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2005"Natural cures..." is probably a revelation for those who aren't familiar with alternative medicine and health. For those of us with a health saavy lifestyle we already know how corrupt our government and big business are to those who might cut into their profits. To have an entire book venting repeately on the one point while delivering none of the promised information, is disappointing at best. The title and the infomercial that promote this book are extremely misleading in that they both imply you will be getting the author's discoveries of natural cures in his book. Nothing could be further from the truth. This book is empty of content and nothing more than a $30 dollar ad for his website and newsletter.
Trudeau vents repeadedly that the information (the "cures") can't be written in the book because government interference and corruption are keeping him from putting his opinions in print. He insists that the FDA and FTC are waiting to pounce on him, which very well may be true. Those of us who take vitamins and use alternative medicine are well versed in the corruption and interference our government reeks of. But for some inexplicable reason you can buy that very information from his "newsletter" and/or other books he sells on his website for a monthly fee. What a crock. While it is true that the FDA and FTC and other organizations mentioned in his book are extremely corrupt he could have written this in one, tight chapter and given us the promised content by writing what all the hype and book cover promises. As it is, it is nothing more than a book length advertisement for his website and newsletter. I know how much I hate getting that crap in the mail and I was really disgusted to see it in the form a a book. Have I repeated myself? It must be catching.
Had the book actually contained the information promised in the title and promoted by the infomercial, it might have been a great book. As it is, don't waste your money.
No stars for this book. Like an earlier reviewer, Kevin, I want a refund.

ok book.
BrynechoReviewed in Canada on December 5, 20141.0 out of 5 stars I would recommend strongly that Amazon drops this book from its "health" ...
What a bunch of bunk! Not surprising as it is written by a man who had no education or background in medicine or nutrition. I would recommend strongly that Amazon drops this book from its "health" listing and put it in "fiction" because that's what it is.
