The Indigo powder is almost black- inspite of using in different quantities in the soaps- it gives a very bad, durty, grey and nothing like blue color. Bad quality! Contacted the seller- she said that she has only good reviews -still I need to warn the rest of the customers.
I just recently received this. I ordered it to color soap. The color is a much prettier blue than a couple batches of indigo I had received from other suppliers. I had some infusing in oil and then read a suggestion to add it to boiling water instead of oil. Made the first batch with the oil and it turned out ok. Then I added some to the boiling water to soak, and I can already see it turned a much prettier blue that way. I am really looking forward to trying it. Very happy.
Excellent product. Thank you for the generous portion for such a great price. I actually used it today for the first time (I'm a soap maker) and the blue color was amazing!! But a little does go a long way, at least in soap. When I am ready for more, I will look this seller up! Great customer service!
Just beautiful! I bought this Indigo powder to color my soaps naturally. So much better than ones I bought here from other suppliers in the US. It was worth the one month wait for it to get here. A little bit goes a long way. Highly recommend to other soapers trying to achieve a beautiful blue color naturally.
Intent on creating a natural blue colored handcrafted SOAP, I ordered this indigo powder. The price was fair and the wait (for it to travel halfway 'round the world) was worth it.
