I make Sicilian Scacciata every year for Christmas. It's basically a calzone with spinach and cheese inside. There are many variations. If you have Sicilian friends they all have a different take on this. Mine always seem to have spinach oozing out which makes them less visually appealing but still very tasty. I added this powder to the fresh spinach and cheese mixture hoping to make the filling more dry with hopes of less oozing. It did seem less liquidity but still got the ooze. Anyway it tasted great as usual. I think the oozing is because I put too much in the dough. I had a lot left over and I just tried making spinach tea with this. Hot water and a couple of spoons - I like it. It's freezing here and this is a nice hot drink for a cold day. You have to really like spinach I suppose to consume this way . Enjoy

I use this powder for smoothies, but also in my hair and skin care routine. Of course, smoothies are a great way to get fruits and veggies, but did you know that this also makes a great mask and scalp treatment? For skin care, I mix this up with some water to make a thick paste, or a little grapefruit juice for extra clarifying oomph. Cover your face except for your eyes and let it sit for 20 minutes. I also make an infusion of the spinach powder and lemon juice as a hair and scalp treatment - no scaly itchy scalp! Pour the infusion over your hair, massage it down to your scalp, and let sit for ten minutes.
