C.K. Murray is an addiction and recovery counselor, health promoter, motivator, and autodidact. Having worked in various fields and careers, C.K. now enjoys spending his free time writing and spreading love, knowledge, and understanding to his readers.

Mr. Murray has an extensive personal knowledge of health-related issues. Beginning with drugs and alcohol abuse in his early years, he spent years in and out of treatment programs. He landed in outpatient and inpatient recovery, weekend interventions, 26-week treatments, and a variety of transitional programs for addiction.

After a long bout with depression and the criminal justice system, Murray finally got clean. The Natural Weight Loss handbook is a real eye-opener. Just like the performance of athletes where it is often said that “half the battle is in their head,” it’s just as true about weight loss. C.K. Murray is quick to point out that most if not all diets work. It’s our personal commitment to our current diet that makes or breaks our success in losing weight. Murray directs the reader to start with visualization. Too many people look in the mirror and see a distorted image of themselves, such as those suffering of bulimia and anorexia.

Murray goes on to dispel myths about how not all pounds are created equal and discusses how metabolism, sleep, exercise, and fat-burning foods play into the overall picture of a healthy diet. Overall, I found this handbook to be an excellent guide for those not seeking a fad diet – but looking to live a healthier lifestyle. For good.

I wanted to find a natural way to lose weight that didnt make me feel sick or underfed. “Natural Weight Loss” is a wonderful resource for doing just that. The author does quite a job of laying out the research so people like me can understand and apply it, I especially liked the sections on creating a working plan, fat-burning foods, calorie differences, and overcoming obstacles.
This is a great no-nonsense approach, and will change your lifestyle instead of just putting you on some diet that doesn’t last. Will be sharing with my friends!

This book has nothing new, just good sound advice that any doctor would tell you, which everyone ignores. The book has "links" without web addresses, so they are useless with the written version. Waste of money.

What I really enjoyed about this book is how it dives into some of the mental aspects of what's needed to start losing weight. Oftentimes we go on diets, and after a week or two we become discouraged because there may not be much progress, and we give up. So, the strong mentality that it takes to lose weight is just as important. It's a lot of science, and this book does a good job of pointing that out.

Natural weight loss is built on sustainability, which most ppl forget. this book will help deliver sustained weight loss habits, both physical and psychological. it is all backed by research and presented in an interesting fashion. a recommended read for everybody
